no Da Ca, keyboards aren't PS2 disks. It can ruin the insides there are some things that aren't water proof and can damage the springs and all that. Also some areas are nearly impossible to get water out of unless you open it up.

If your cheap and don't want to spend your money on this, put cling wrap over your keyboard, if it gets dirty throw it away and put new cling wrap over it.

My daughter, didnt read the directions and washed it in the dishwasher. We had major construction in our house and it was covered in dust. Fully washed again. and the keyboard keeps working like brand new. We did have one of the keyboards die... because a cat chewed the cord.. but, if they gave it a metal cat proof cord, pretty sure you could beat someone to death with this keyboard, wash it and it would keep working.

No not as typing friendly as the Logitech one here by a long shot, but it was only $9 on eBay, and has more than payed for itself, and I have to agree hate when he shows an old product like it just came out yesterday, and claiming it's the first of it's kind when other products that do the same function have existed for years.
It's just waterproof, not intended for food and sticky sauce and sticky drinks to be spilt all over it, or to be washed or submerged in water. I just thought that if I spill a bit of water and quickly clean it up, it would still be good. Turns out this product is much better than I thought, incredible! Logitech ftw!

I used to work for a little IT company that only had pharmacies and doctor's offices as clients. At least 1 in 10 doctors had a washable Logitech keyboard. But all professional hospital equipment will be on touchscreens. Regular hospital offices probably will get these though.

I wash it in the sink whenever it gets dirty and trust me it survives long standing coffee / soda stains (don't really drink soda anymore tho) I've even had keys become sticky from a spill but washing always brings it back to like new again, still feels surreal unplugging it from my PC and submerging it under soapy water, The only minor downside after 6 years of heavy use is that the ink / lettering on the WASD keys has slowly faded from gaming on it (but still visible). Also always liked the way it feels when typing so just haven't had any urge to replace it yet.

I worked selling office electronics, I can safely say that a very similar version of this keyboard by Logitech had been around for at least 2 years.
This series is about him finding things, doesn't matter how old they are. It's like going to a yard sale and finding stuff, but online.
It has also been discontinued for a number of years now in most markets... Actually too bad, as they didn't offer a replacement model.
