I think they came into it wanting to crown Rita, and for Priyanka to be Adore figure. However, they did such poor job of concealing it, that they ended up switching to Priyanka last minute in order to avoid the backlash.

Miss Peronka didn't even have the best track record on her season. If production really wanted to push her as the winner they would've at least make an effort lmao
So? They knew how good her lip sync abilities were and she was up against girls that were not even front runners anyways. Favoured doesnt mean she's always saved from the bottom. Like they said- they gave Pri and Rita passes for design looks that were... questionable at best due to how inconsistent the judging already was that season.

I met priyanka... not a fan... just a heads up, anyone wanting to buy her a birthday gift, save your money... she had some real nasty things to say about receiving bath bombs and makeup from fans... the staff loved it though since she said and i quote, we can take whatever garbage she leaves... and with the most condescending tone and facial expressions. Never was a fan of Priyanka’s on her season tbh. She, out of the entire cast, always annoyed me & her and Rita were pushed HARD to the finale. Pri could’ve easily been in the bottom for both design challenges, Snatch Game, the pageant episode, and possibly even the ball. She has a lot of charisma, but in the actual competition she was extremely mid imo. The one area I will definitely give props though is her lipsyncs. She did amazing both times and really knows how to emote a song. Rita was also super favored, I don’t think I agreed a single time she won a challenge, so I would’ve mentioned both queens😂

I love drag and RPDR but I’m 28 years old. I don’t think it’s appropriate for children. Kitty Demure has voiced concerns that drag performances, traditionally meant for adults, often contain sexual themes and innuendos inappropriate for children. Similarly, RuPaul said that drag can involve humor and themes better suited for mature audiences. While drag can be empowering, children need space to grow without being exposed to performances designed for adults. It’s the same reason why I wouldn’t bring my kid to see Cardi B or Meghan The Stallion either. Maybe the Swedish franchise is more appropriate for children to watch, but the US franchise is definitely not.
