      Please show a completed project so I don't have to watch the entire video. It would save time when after watching it all and then decide its not a project you want to do.

    Dear friend I don’t know you but I just love your style of crocheting it’s the way my grandmother taught me and I just loved watching how you began and your process. You have brought me great memories, I’m 66 years old and praise GOD I am still able to crochet. So grateful my grandmother took the time to teach me.🥹 GOD bless!

    Thumbnail of blanket would be great! I’m watching to see what the pattern was only to find out it’s just a granny square! Nice colors though.

    I think the pattern and colors are nice together. I personally do not like working with this yarn because it breaks really easy. But you have done a great job of showing us your work. Thank you!

    You can also keep going around that one square and making it bigger and that willakexone made one big granny, square blanket.. this is such an easy pattern. I’ve made a lot of blankets with this pattern.

    Thank you for showing the video, and the annotations. In UK we use different nomenclature for the stitches which is confusing if you are working from an American based pattern! A wee thumbnail to show what end result would be would help tho.

    That is probably one of the hardest wools to crochet with but you make it look so easy. I guess you can make these as large as you want as I think that one would be a little small even for a baby.

    I once made one like that, don't like the way you sewed it together. It should be flat. Try making one just going back and forth, starting with a chain stitch (as long as u want) turn and go back and forth, change colors, easy peze

    • @johb6665
      @johb6665 8 месяцев назад +5

      Same here I do show work and very few want to pay what I ask,I use pure wool and super soft acrylics,

    • @70schick36
      @70schick36 8 месяцев назад +6

      Then you are underpricing your product. In the right environment, baby quilts should go for $75-$100, easily. Admittedly, this is a simple granny square pattern. Not difficult or complicated.

    • @amydavis4945
      @amydavis4945 8 месяцев назад +10

      @@70schick36I think that price point depends on where you are. There's no way I'm getting $75-$100 for a baby blanket where I live in rural Oklahoma. Depending on the pattern/yarn I can usually get $40-$60 per blanket... but for something like THIS (a granny square with cheap polyester yarn)... MAYBE $20/$25.

      @@harrietyarmill2873 Not really. I don’t do quilting and I don’t sell my projects. Just commenting on prices I’ve seen at craft shows. Think about it like this: If a project takes you 5 hours to complete, at $50, that is $10 per hour. Would you be happy working at a job for $10 per hour? I wouldn’t.
