In Brazil is impossível to try this new fragrance. 80% of the weather from January to December is too hot. It's so sad because the best fragrances are for cold weather.

What happen if you use a parfum on hot water ?
@@lorenzorossi2661 It can actually become cloying in the air. That is why it is recommended to wear lighter scents in the hotter weather :)
Jeremy, I was a big Fragrance collector in the 80s, but wife, kids, mortgage, dog etc stopped some of that but im back thanks to your encouragement. many thanks great videos.

Why did you rate the uniqueness 9/10, when it has very strong resemblances to DHI?
Jeremy, this fragrance gets its best reactions with drydown. Opens up very much as DHI but then it becomes just BEAUTIFUL

I love this so much I literally made it become my signature scent.
I just got this fragance 2 days ago.. and i work in a hotel.. i got the fragance all over the place no one say anything just this guy.. that ask me which one i was wearing... i think is a very strong fragance...is very intense.. kinda spicy.. very good projection a long lasting
The dry down is better than right after you just sprayed it on. So maybe that’s why most of the women didn’t rate it as high.
Great video Jeremy. I would also have to agree that Uomo Intense is more mass appealing than DHI. Even though I love DHI, Uomo Intense seems to be a much safer bet and easier to wear. On a side note, I saw you do this in this video and a couple of other times in other videos. After a girl rates the fragrance you are reviewing, could you ask a couple of them what their favorite mens fragrances are? You don't have to ask every girl, I just think it would be really interesting to hear what they choose haha

I agree, this was my thought as well. Because if they have similar tastes you know you're on the right track. If her favourites are scents you'd never wear them her opinion holds no weight. At the end of the day it has to have personal resonance.
But how does it compare to the original valentino uomo??
I like the original, missing the Iris which I like, I really like that it’s a very sweet fragrance but it’s not loud.

I bought this recently, I love the smell, but was hoping for the intense to be much longer lasting! I'd say tops it's gone in 3 hours. You need to be really close to smell it after that time. 😞

Unfortunatly it looks like it is no longer produced. It only came out in 2016. It was a great fragrance. Dont understand the logic there. Maybe because L'Oréal bought Valentino fragrances and they do cleanup? It is similar to Dior Homme Intense but this one has a lasting soft Vanilla/Mandarin smell which i like a lot.
I think this Fragrance has best performance in winter. If you would asked the women in a cold winter day outside. They would have rated this 10/10.

It's seemed to score mostly in the 7 (average) range with these ladies. So how is it better than DHI?? DHI scores higher than that and is always on most complimented lists. Maybe I'm missing something??

Because compliments is only one factor. Not everyone wears perfume to score compliments
do a video on what fragrances you think certain characters would wear judging by their personality. such as James bond, Will from the fresh prince, Tony stark from ironman etc....if you can can you say something other than floris for james bond

The dry down is a lot better than the opening in my opinion

I bought a few samples this week as terre de hermes has been my signature scent for a few years but i wanted to switch it up a bit for winter here in the uk... I bought Killian Black phantom .. Pdm layton and this valentino uomo intense and for me the valentino beats them all... A real masculine deep freshness which is honestly in its own lane. Its not often i smell a parfum that doesnt remind me of another one in one way or another but this is exactly that... Buy it.
I got this last week, it's good juice for sure but i find it quite weak, i might sell it because i prefer DHI which is stronger, even the current formulation, if you have DHI no real point in having this.

I watched a good 5 or 6 RUclips reviews on this fragrance before I decided to buy a small sample from eBay.
I was expecting it to smell good, but it actually made me bork. I absolutely hated it. It initially smelt strong, like a powerful aniseed smell. I let it dry down and although it smelt more leathery, it still made me sick. Let my Brother, Mother and Sister smell it and they didn't like it neither. Tried washing it off my hand because I couldn't avoid the smell, it was wafting all over the show, so I sprayed Jimmy Choo Man Intense over it to counteract with the sweetness.
I honestly don't understand the hype. It is fairly unique, I'll give it that, but in my opinion I think it's a Marmite fragrance. You will either love it or hate it.
No where near to DHI, dont no why they even compare

IMO projection is poor.
It's very powdery and floral in the opening, smells just like palmer violets.
It matures in the dry down but just doesnt last long enough, for me.

It is a great fragrance ,,not fair they only smell the opening of the fragrance ,to me i prefer the base whin the leather comes to play with vanilla and iris😍

It means that they change the ingredients of the fragrance which often causes it to not last as long. Yes you could re-apply, I'm no expert in the field but I think that's what it means.

Latest reformulation of DHI, is totally horrible. It's watered down. It does not last as long. I wonder if this is better, than DHI in terms of performance?

Valentino Intense is great, has that classic italian vibe! It`s like an italian suite, does not fit for everybody but if it does, it`s damn sexy!
