This song is just so amazing. You get lost in the sauce with the impeccable harmonies. Shout out to Randy Meisner on those high harmonies.

David Crosby died today. When we boomers are all gone they will remember us for the PC, some amazing movies but most of all for the music. They'll curse us for everything else.
Once Don Felder was forced out they weren't so good. His played so many riffs in their songs it was--his guitar playing that drove so many of their songs -he was and still is one of the most underrated guitar players of all time.

"I Can't Tell You Why" is my favorite. "Witchy Woman" is another good one, it's easier to say they didn't create a bad song, all good!
A wonderful lead guitar solo by Don "fingers" Felder. He is such a tasty guitarist. I loved the Eagles when he was in the band.

The lyrics are original to them. The combination of their vocals, harmonies and wonder instruments makes for a fantastic sound.

Don Henley one of the best lead vocals in Rock. Love all his solo albums also.
Henley is one of rock's best lyricists. Very literate and sophisticated, yet everyman-simple. Brilliant.
The guitar work on this song is awesome, the rhythm guitars, but it's Don Felder's guitar solo that really stands out. He's got that nasty fuzz tone that is hard to replicate with today's amps, but the solo is so damn tasty. Great song

Eagles have lyrics that people remember their entire life, great harmonies (7 Bridges Road), 4 lead singers (Don Henley, Glen Frey, Joe Walsh, Randy Meisner replaced by Timothy B Schmidt), and great musicianship. Amazing live!
