We read Figments of Imagination in our school...It was an ensemble of beautiful short stories...
I liked almost all of them. The ones I liked most:
    'The Bet' by Anton Chekov
'God sees the truth but waits' by Leo Tolstoy
    'Dusk' by Saki
    'Michelangelo' by Gulzar...
Recently I came across another one by Leo Tolstoy...'The Coffee-House of Surat'. I found it interesting and thought provoking.

I'm in grade 10th but I love to read the book beyond syllabus! I have read a lot of books such as novels, poetry and many more, so it makes me feel like curriculums in school are just like your side effects only but the real one is that we need to read the books as much as we can. I myself glad to have a good habit of reading.

I totally LOVE Guy De Maupassant's short stories!! I had a collection of his short stories which I read when I was 14 and while there were some stories which I couldn't understand I did read some reviews on the internet which had helped me get an ideaof them. Ever since then, Guy De Maupassant has been one of my favorite short stories authors. However, I don't have the collection now (I had lent it to someone who hasn't returned it -_-). But now that you have recommended the Projapoti edition, I'm surely gonna buy it from Amazon {through ur affliate link ofc :-) }. Thank you soooo much Helly di for recommending his short stories. It's such a pleasure to know that u love his short stories too. Seriously di, u're an angel of a booktuber. 💛💛
