He hates the maximals who get in the way of his designs on dictator of cybertron. He hates the predacon council who treat with the maximals and so keep the majority of predacons from joining his cause for power. In Beastmachines he actually becomes dictator of cybertron but then a new problem gets in the way of extending his power further. That being his beast mode. And so now he hates beast modes. (I haven't properly watched beast machines so if i got this wrong I apologize.) 2. Megatron always leaps at the chance to do what he accuses others of and more. "Archaic energon guzzlers. How dare they!" This coming from the guy who kills his own troops firing every gun of the Nemesis to kill an insignificant creature. Megatron would be first in line to guzzle that energon. 3. "And mine to rule." Megatron believes the world can only be one of the oppressor (Predator) and the oppressed (Prey). Megatron notes that he is not the oppressor on cybertron and so he believes he must therefore be the oppressed. He's not saying that he and the predacons have been starving. He's saying the maximals not being the literal slaves of the predacons is an oppression upon the predacons. The predacons aren't allowed their freedom to oppress and so they are oppressed. Incredibly true. I feel they did that to most characters the WFC trilogy wasn’t very good. Siege was probably the best and Kingdom was the worst but the toys were cool
I think the part at 4:49 where Megatron attempts to return to Cybertron with Optimus Primal as a "trophy" alongside the weapon in order to incite a Predacon uprising shows how deep into his delusions he truly is. He's become so enraptured in the Beast Wars that he believes it's the only conflict that matters, forgetting that Primal's crew was a research vessel, and his own gang of Predacons are just a renegade band of thieves. Both groups are utterly unimportant to Cybertron, save for the fact that they happened to accidentally stumble upon prehistoric Earth, an alien experiment far bigger than them, and the Golden Disk. Regardless of all that, bringing Primal back to Cybertron accomplishes nothing, because neither he nor Megatron are important to Cybertron aside from the things they happened to stumble into. But Megatron believes it will be inspiring to show off his grand victory against this research vessel captain, because in his mind, he is great and glorious, so any fight that the Maximals can keep up this long with him must mean that they're great foes worthy of defeating. In reality, the fact that a team of researchers was able to keep the Beast Wars in stalemate long enough is a testament to how incompetent the Predacons are.
That does overlook the fact that Megatron's first ambition is to conquer Cybertron, and that the Predacon Alliance's only options for overthrowing the Maximals is either plenty of energy, or some kind of an edge re' weaponry. That; and as it becomes clear, Megatron [and Tarantulas] finds he can erase the Maximals from existence via the Ark.
1:16 that cough was so organic and it's "voice" was so different from Megatron's that I like to think that David Kaye actually coughed in real life, out of character

Fun fact: in the crappy Street Fighter cartoon, David Kaye (Megatron) voiced Akuma, and Richard Newman (Rhinox) voiced M. Bison. Also: Ken and Rattrap have the same voice...
Megatron keeps quoting the book of Revelation but calling it something else.
+Turey Taino "The Covenant of Primus", which is basically the Transformer civilization's Bible.
True.
The tf bible written by possibly g1 megatron or megatronys or primus or even alpha trion
Megatron: Just the good parts.
"shoot him if u want, he means nothing to me.... of course its a waste of ammo"......
...."of course" 🤨
I don't know who kills me more with their epicness: Megatron Apocolypse or Emperor Palpatine
All three
David Kaye voiced two of those
one of the best villans ever. very well done video.
Megaton is literally is the best thing to come out of this.
I would love to see Megatron from transformers prime and this one making a team up and then beating the crap of each other
Too bad Netflix did him (and all the Maximals and Predicons) dirty
Incredibly true. I feel they did that to most characters the WFC trilogy wasn’t very good. Siege was probably the best and Kingdom was the worst but the toys were cool
I love when hes a trex and moves his tiny arms
Megatron favorite word. yessssssss
11:05 Megatrons like "The F@ck do you want?"
1:16 that cough was so organic and it's "voice" was so different from Megatron's that I like to think that David Kaye actually coughed in real life, out of character
THE H WORD!!
Oh noes! Not the H word!!
MasterZebulin
yEEEEEeeeesssssss.
MasterZebulin Honour!!!
Megatron: TRIGGERED
Best Megatron ever, yeesssss...
He's ten times more awesome now I'm ten years older
David Kaye just had THE BEST damned dialogue delivery style...
Yeeeesss...
I just got Legacy TM2 Megatron and I am just repeatedly quoting him while messing with him. I freaking love this glorious bastard!
Actually, i think BW Megatron voice is better. This Megatron's voice is powerfull, deep, yet with exceptional sense of style, and funny when it's needed.
This was a great interpretation of Megatron.
Very charismatic leader.
Saying Beast Wars Megatron has a God Complex is the same as Water is wet.
This Megatron... it's as if he's trying to be a Bond villain- and doing a great job at it as well, yesss.....
Amen to that, the only thing those 80's cartoons have going for them now is just nostalgia.
This is my new favorite megatron.
