That’s honestly very amazing. To make a Transformers character so interesting and have dimension and personality. It’s what I know Transformers can be, really well told stories with great fleshed out characters that happen to be alien robots, not just “we’re big, we fight!”.
Honestly I couldn't imagine Frank Welker doing the voice for Beast Wars Megatron. I feel like David Kaye gave BW Megs a more charming yet sinister voice and it really fits the character.

David Kaye gave Megatron a depth of character that wasn't shown in G1. I'm not saying that Frank Welker didn't do a great job, because he did with Megatron. I am simply saying David Kaye brought a different perspective to the character.

DC Frank as a kid people told me I could do an amazing Optimus prime (not primal just prime) impression and I believed but strangely as I grew up and my voice got deeper it slipped away don’t know why

Almost every woman I know say the same: "This Megatron has a, cool, wonderful and sensual voice". I mean when we were children the girls of my classroom, hell even the teacher went nuts back then and I said: "Well it doesnt surprise they go f@*&in' nuts...afterall he has a cool voice.".
I love David Kaye! Hes such a cool dude! His voice is buttery smooth, sensual, and glorious! Golden voice! YEESSSS! Classic! What a legend! Loved him in beast wars, animated and the unicron trilogy! I also really like him as professor Xavier on xmen evolution! Many great varied roles!
In "The Low Road", Megatron said he has a penchant for intelligent conversation; I think this meant, in the show's context, long ago, he had some philosophical debate with Arcee, or someone who knows her very well, and that must be how he got that "Yesss" gimmick!
He meant it is why he talked to himself! When a villian say that it means no one else around is intelligent and that is why they talk to themself. Classic cartoon villian behavior.

Optimus Primal started out as a bat and later, he became a gorilla, a Transmetal 1 gorilla and a Transmetal 2 gorilla known as Optimal Optimus. And as for Predacon Megatron, he started out as an alligator and later became a T-Rex, a Transmetal 1 T-Rex and a Transmetal 2 dragon.
I never realized before but yeah, BW had some Shakespearean elements if you look for them. I hope they reboot it someday somehow and I demand David Kaye reprise the role of the main villain.
Both are great. I personally grew up watching the reruns of G1 along with DVDs of the show. My dad even [REDACTED] the 1986 movie for me on his computer. After watching it at age 8, I cried for the rest of the day. My dad said that he had the same reaction to the movie when it came out.

When they dubbed the Beast Wars into Filipino in our local dub, they reproduced that "Yess" with our local equivalent ("Tama" or "Oo" depending on what he's saying Yes to).
I remember my uncle showed us Beast Wars a few years ago and we thought it looked wack because of the CGI but Waspinator and Megatron really got me hooked. Also I still say “That’s just Prime” to this day

I like his husky and calm voice, but I enjoy him best when he does that gruff and regal voice.
I'm convinced Markiplier got the inspiration for his "deep voice" from this guy and Megatron. The two sound uncannily similar.
