I cannot think of anything that heavy being thrown that fast, and far without having a tweak or two in stock parts. I am sold on it's durability, and "Build, Bash, Break, Repeat" should be without being said, or it would be no fun! Great video man!!

The bigger shock shafts are hanging tough, but excited to see what the Wizard designs 😱. Mitch is so dialed at improving stuff. Just blows my mind with his ingenuity. Actually just dropped his 8s O-ring pistons in 👌. The rear was really feeling bouncy. The EXB rod ends are definitely far better than the RTR ones. Mines just arrived today,thanks for the info,been putting m2c parts on mine and my son’s kraton 6s took them to the bmx track last weekend only damage ripped off rpm bumper,it’s been on there 1 1/2 years so lasted well,he’s only 11 years old but his specialty is bending rear shock towers,went through 4 before I found bad touch breakers uk m2c supplier.

Not bad damage considering the weight... You really do have to be realistic when it comes to these rigs. Even with that said, people are going to hate on it. Not really sure why, it's a cool vehicle, one of the coolest released as of late. I love the more traditional chassis layout too. It's not the most durable large scale out there, but it's definitely still a tough truck.
Love your comment Brother and agree 100% 🤗. Lots of people get frustrated when things break and often want to blame the truck or the brand. Most parts break for a reason. These Big rigs have to be treated with size in mind 😱. I'm still amazed a truck this heavy can move so well and take what it does, within reason of course 👍. No truck is perfect, but ARRMA's done a great job taking feedback and improving upon the platform. I'm also a fan of the open chassis layout and modular design.. I do think though that the 6s line- especially kraton 6s exb and typhon 6s- is one of the toughest rc when m2ced up. I'm also amazed by the 4s durability. My oc4s is still getting punished daily and to date I had 0 issues with it. The 4s line is outstanding, that's a fact. I've beaten the oc8s few days ago with double backflips ,for which in the 8s line you need decent speed and a big block as shown. The shock shafts are straight, car is all m2c but NOT the shafts, I couldnt believe it... Thanks for the vid Rich
@@bashaz8559 My oc8s is stock and only I bend a shock shaft when I landed hard sideways. I have NO M2C upgrades so fare and chassi is still straight. Then again I run on stock electrics and can do about one back flip. If the ramp is right and steep enough.

I cracked 2 rims in the o8s and i think i might try a set of those if or when available.cant wait for the new shocks to be available and mitches 7mm shafts. Definitely will be trying them. Id say your fix still did a good job helping the chassis. Its asking alot with that big girl lol🤘 seeing that mammoth pull off double backflips is just insane. If and when someone makes one, do you think a 7075 bash bar be a good option for it or would just doing a new m2c chassis be better? I work at a press shop and we have a bunch of different materials including 7075 aluminum, ranging from 1.5mm to 8mm thick and there a bunch of scrap I have access too. I've made a few bash bars for me and my buddies to try out. I made a basher bar for a buddy's K6 exb and he loves it.
I do think a bash bar is a good option, just might to tricky to integrate well with the bumper and skid while still supporting both chassis ends. Overall, I'd prefer running M2C personally. The top mounted chassis stiffener plates have worked brilliantly with no interference of components. I'd be curious how the stock chassis plus bash bar compares weight wise with the M2C though 🤔. One thing I'm certain of is the actual 7075 grade is different between M2C and the stock chassis. It's hard to beat top grade T6. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Another one to the moon bud! I really like those stock tires on mine but I do get fish tailing on the soft stuff just like my Outcast 8s. I prefer the belted tires like the duratrax lockups x. I'm going to try out the powerhobby XL belted tires on my rigs. Hehe. To the moon!
@Lamar Turner I absolutely love my Duratrax lockup x 24mm belted tires on my X-Maxx trucks. These tires are very similar but more expensive and I believe they are bigger too. The entire area (including the parking lot) is normally underwater after regular rainfall seasons and snow melt from the Sierra's.The lack of rain has left huge areas to really open these rigs up on 😍. Just have to watch out for rocks and huge granite formations hidden in the sand. 🍻😎💪👊👊
Just got one of these, thinking about what to put in it.. The easiest thing for me to get is the Hobbywing Max5 and 800kv motor setup, would you recommend that and would i be right in thinking 39/39 would be a good place to start gearing wise? Want to be able to hit 50mph, not into speed runs, just thrashing and bashing off road :) Thanks :)
Congrats Brother 😱. I haven't ran the Hobbywing 800kv, but I would think 39/39 should be perfect for Killer speeds along with gobs of torque. I'm not certain what the stock ARRMA mount can fit without modification though 🤔. Still running 34/34 gearing with my 840kv and M2C mount in my original Kraton 8s and it Rips 👀. You should be closer to 55-60mph I'd think. 🍻😎💪👊👊

I was spinning out too easily the first bash and could clearly see the inside wheels bleeding power around corners. The bigger shock shafts are hanging tough, but excited to see what the Wizard designs 😱. Mitch is so dialed at improving stuff. Just blows my mind with his ingenuity. Actually just dropped his 8s O-ring pistons in 👌. The rear was really feeling bouncy. The EXB rod ends are definitely far better than the RTR ones. I simply stacked it into that hillside last outing with the ramp shaver 😱. Couldn't believe the arms and links took that. So stoked to see you running Big power with the 08s Bro 👀. I like how you include a "damage report" being unbiased and transparent with NO B.S. included. Are you the CEO over at Arrma/Horizon yet? haha. Hell, Arrma should at least have you on the payroll by now as the "R&D Top Dog" or some shit.

Mines just arrived today,thanks for the info,been putting m2c parts on mine and my son’s kraton 6s took them to the bmx track last weekend only damage ripped off rpm bumper,it’s been on there 1 1/2 years so lasted well,he’s only 11 years old but his specialty is bending rear shock towers,went through 4 before I found bad touch breakers uk m2c supplier.

Not bad damage considering the weight... You really do have to be realistic when it comes to these rigs. Even with that said, people are going to hate on it. Not really sure why, it's a cool vehicle, one of the coolest released as of late. I love the more traditional chassis layout too. It's not the most durable large scale out there, but it's definitely still a tough truck.
Love your comment Brother and agree 100% 🤗. Lots of people get frustrated when things break and often want to blame the truck or the brand. Most parts break for a reason. These Big rigs have to be treated with size in mind 😱. I'm still amazed a truck this heavy can move so well and take what it does, within reason of course 👍. No truck is perfect, but ARRMA's done a great job taking feedback and improving upon the platform. I'm also a fan of the open chassis layout and modular design.. I do think though that the 6s line- especially kraton 6s exb and typhon 6s- is one of the toughest rc when m2ced up.
I'm also amazed by the 4s durability.
My oc4s is still getting punished daily and to date I had 0 issues with it. The 4s line is outstanding, that's a fact.
I've beaten the oc8s few days ago with double backflips ,for which in the 8s line you need decent speed and a big block as shown. The shock shafts are straight, car is all m2c but NOT the shafts, I couldnt believe it...

@@bashaz8559 My oc8s is stock and only I bend a shock shaft when I landed hard sideways. I have NO M2C upgrades so fare and chassi is still straight. Then again I run on stock electrics and can do about one back flip. If the ramp is right and steep enough.

Man i couldn't wait to watch this after work and i was not disappointed such an awesome mix of rigs man. The 8s exb is definitely friggen sick brother. Im really glad you emphasized on the new tires. I cracked 2 rims in the o8s and i think i might try a set of those if or when available.cant wait for the new shocks to be available and mitches 7mm shafts. Definitely will be trying them. Id say your fix still did a good job helping the chassis. Its asking alot with that big girl lol🤘 seeing that mammoth pull off double backflips is just insane. It was good seeing the infraction i was just thinking yesterday it would be cool to try that brake set up in a build like a stretched typhon with hoons. If and when someone makes one, do you think a 7075 bash bar be a good option for it or would just doing a new m2c chassis be better? I work at a press shop and we have a bunch of different materials including 7075 aluminum, ranging from 1.5mm to 8mm thick and there a bunch of scrap I have access too. I've made a few bash bars for me and my buddies to try out. I made a basher bar for a buddy's K6 exb and he loves it.
I do think a bash bar is a good option, just might to tricky to integrate well with the bumper and skid while still supporting both chassis ends. Overall, I'd prefer running M2C personally. The top mounted chassis stiffener plates have worked brilliantly with no interference of components. I'd be curious how the stock chassis plus bash bar compares weight wise with the M2C though 🤔. One thing I'm certain of is the actual 7075 grade is different between M2C and the stock chassis. It's hard to beat top grade T6. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Another one to the moon bud! I really like those stock tires on mine but I do get fish tailing on the soft stuff just like my Outcast 8s. I prefer the belted tires like the duratrax lockups x. I'm going to try out the powerhobby XL belted tires on my rigs. Hehe. To the moon!
@Lamar Turner I absolutely love my Duratrax lockup x 24mm belted tires on my X-Maxx trucks. These tires are very similar but more expensive and I believe they are bigger too. If you want, subscribe to my channel. I'll probably try them out next time I take my EXB K8S out since I'm waiting on parts for my Outcast 8s that I'm rebuilding 👍

The entire area (including the parking lot) is normally underwater after regular rainfall seasons and snow melt from the Sierra's.The lack of rain has left huge areas to really open these rigs up on 😍. Just have to watch out for rocks and huge granite formations hidden in the sand. 🍻😎💪👊👊

The easiest thing for me to get is the Hobbywing Max5 and 800kv motor setup, would you recommend that and would i be right in thinking 39/39 would be a good place to start gearing wise? Want to be able to hit 50mph, not into speed runs, just thrashing and bashing off road :)

Congrats Brother 😱. I haven't ran the Hobbywing 800kv, but I would think 39/39 should be perfect for Killer speeds along with gobs of torque. I'm not certain what the stock ARRMA mount can fit without modification though 🤔. Still running 34/34 gearing with my 840kv and M2C mount in my original Kraton 8s and it Rips 👀. You should be closer to 55-60mph I'd think. 🍻😎💪👊👊

I want this so bad. hoping to get it in the summer sometime, or at least the 6s version. Trouble is that Horizons pricing here in the UK sucks. Lately we've seen an approx 30% price hike on almost everything Arrma :(

@@richduperbash2966 Yeah it sucks. I was on the verge of getting a Typhon 6s when the price rocketed up from £540 to well over £600 in some places. Can't find any explanation anywhere to justify it.

Thanks Kevin 🤗. Mitch has designed 7mm shock shafts with his own lower shock cartridge and shock ends. Waiting to see them in the flesh 👀. Expect to see beefier hardened steel CVD's soon. Mitch's new screw machine can make anything metal on the truck. Also can make Titanium parts. 🍻🚀🚀😎💪👊👊
