Along time ago around 2007 the Gas Company's started drilling wells. They created the Gravel Roads to access their worksites for the Drilling. We they were put on the map they were given the G letter. Stood for Gravel. Over time, the roads were not kept up by the Gas Company's. When they were put in they were considered Easy (Green) Trails. Over time, some have fallen into the Moderate State. A misconception of many is that all G trails are easy. This is not true. The Official Windrock Park Map will show current difficulty designation.
Great meeting you today, you give great information and detail on what trails to take.
Thanks, you too!
Love to see that seat belt in action. Accidents happen.
Fun video I love the beautiful area.
Glad you enjoyed it
Great meeting you today. Great info like always thanks again!!
Good meeting you also. Hope you all had fun with Denise leading you.
Try to show a shot of the entrances to the side trails when you can. Great videos from man with an obvious wealth of knowledge of the park
Okay I will try to remember to do that.....
Can you do a video of the overlook past the radar base? We've been there a couple times, and it's one of our favorite spots to take pictures.
I will be glad to include that in my list.......
When will this newest version of the map available to us?
Some time this fall towards End of Year
Why do some trails start with "G"?
