Now that Luffy's on the island he will become Loki's new target as he has "his" fruit.
Loki ate his father, making him the shame of elbaf. Big mom ate her mother. That is what completed the giants hatred of her. She was too much like Loki

I have a couple of ideas for the fruit that Loki could have. Fenrir, Sutr, or Jormungandr. Fenrir was Loki's child and was chained up in mythology much like Loki is right now. Sutr was the fire giant who is said to use his giant sword (like the one stuck in Elbaf) to bring about the end of the world in flames, (sounds kinda like Sun God type destruction). Jormungadr ofc was referenced back in little garden by Dorry and Broggy, although they could have easily been talking about the Red Line instead of any particular creature or power. I would venture to guess it's one of those three.
Reading up a bit on Nidhogg and his lore, this one also makes a lot of sense. With Nidhogg a lot of time being tied up at the root of yggdrisal and trying to gnaw away at the tree. To bring down the age of the gods. Actually a fire theory.
Nidhogg lines up well but two arcs ago the major antagonist was a dragon, and we had momo become a second dragon. Might be too similar of designs for someone as creative as Oda.
Btw this is how we can learn how BB stole WB's df cause perhaps either Harold protected the fruit or was the user of the fruit and Loki killed him to get to the fruit or Loki killed Harold and by the same means as BB got the powers of the fruit. They did say he practiced darkness aka taboo things

There are no sweat drops or stressful expressions on anyone's face when they sense Loki. Also neither Sanji or Zoro show concernl for Loki's strength and Luffy going to see him. Either he is not that strong, not admiral level, or his aura that he gives off is "good" and not malicious despite what others have said about him. One more thing is when Luffy tells Loki his name and gives the pirate king line, Oda drew him with a big good natured smile on his face. I think if Loki was a threat, Luffy would have a more challenging expression.

Here's how I see Law & Kid Vs Linlin: Law's big character arc was initially against Doflamingo, but Law wasn't strong enough to take him down, so he assisted with the fight, but Luffy saved the day. Linlin was essentially the strongest person in Kaido's overall alliance aside from Kaido. Law and Kid helped Luffy fight Both Kaido and Linlin, but once they realised they needed to split them up, the strength levels made more sense to be divided up the way they were. That's just my opinion. At the end of the day, Luffy has to take down the big boss to save everyone who wanted to take that person down.
I dont get why ppl underate Big Mom. I think she is still close or equal to Kaido. She just has different strengths. She was the only one who ran a whole kingdom. Her powers changed the entire world around her.

Here's how I see Law & Kid Vs Linlin: Law's big character arc was initially against Doflamingo, but Law wasn't strong enough to take him down, so he assisted with the fight, but Luffy saved the day. Linlin was essentially the strongest person in Kaido's overall alliance aside from Kaido. Law and Kid helped Luffy fight Both Kaido and Linlin, but once they realised they needed to split them up, the strength levels made more sense to be divided up the way they were. That's just my opinion. At the end of the day, Luffy has to take down the big boss to save everyone who wanted to take that person down.
I dont get why ppl underate Big Mom. I think she is still close or equal to Kaido.
She just has different strengths. She was the only one who ran a whole kingdom. Her powers changed the entire world around her.
Because she was embarrassing in Wano. Got steamrolled by Franky's bike, tossed aside by Robin and Jinbei, got amnesia (AKA plot convenience to help Nami and Usopp against Page One and Ulti) and probably could've beaten Kid and Law but just so happened to forget that she has ACOC and half of her moveset 🤦🏽♂️

I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that Oda showed that she is redeemable, and underneath a kind person (maybe tragic).
To me, she is way better character than Kaido. I think she will have her character moment again

Only when discovering that Morj ranked Akainu over Luffy can the irreversible mental damage that powerscaling One PIece creates be trully fathomed.
Scaling characters we haven’t seen extensively fighting on screen is impossible. U either have to over rate them or under rate them. Morj isn’t mentally challenged for choosing to highball a very prominent antagonist like akainu.

Moreover, Oda will depict Akainu as strong or weak as he sees fit for the story he will decide to tell at the time he has to fight.
He could even make him dumb and weak against one enemy who has to get past him and have him had better feats than Kaido in the next pages, Big Mom is a good example of that.
But at the moment, there is zero depiction of Akainu other than being so slightly stronger than Kuzan. Morj himself said that several times in other streams.Yet when he decides to rank them, he puts Luffy (and others) between them, so I guess Luffy would have a harder time vs Kuzan than he had against Kaido, and against Kizaru and Saturn at the same time because... reasons?
The only explanation is that Morj believe, more than he believed in the raid failing, that Luffy will defeat Akainu, despite a lot of elements pointing the other way, so he has to made him a threat to Luffy when he gauges him, and he ends up with the inconsistency in his view between Akainu, Kuzan, Luffy and co.
