Yeah the MLM2 Pro does both radar and camera. To get the most out of it you either need the special callaway ball with the dots or buy the sheets that can put the metallic dots on the ball of your choice
Sure does but it’s not accurate and the app is riddled with bugs. I’ve had the MLM2Pro and hate it. So much so that I’m now willing to spend up to 10-20k just so I don’t have to deal with such poor products. Hard pass on Rapsodo, it’s garbage.

Simulators used to be $50k- $100k so I’d argue these are pretty damn affordable for the feature set. There are products like the R10, SC4, etc that are in the hundreds, but the feature set isn’t going to be as robust. But for some that’s all they need.
@@LetsPlayThru yeah I hear you. Thanks for the review as always. It’s just another reminder to me golf gadgets is over and above my budget when course fees and balls is barely I can afford.

@@Power5 gspro at $250 a year is a hell of a bargain. Easily the best software I’ve ever used in any of the 5 launch monitors I’ve owned. Hi Randy, The major difference is the 12 course pack on E6 (featuring Pebble Beach, The Old Course, Bethpage Black, etc) which is exclusive to FlightScope and on its own would cost over $1 000. Additionally, without any specials/discounts the Mevo+ 2023 Edition with the Pro Package and Face Impact Location add-ons retails for a total of $3 698, whereas the Limited Edition retails for $3 499 and includes everything out of the box. Hope this helps.
Mevo+ with all add ons was exactly 3136 usd at flightscope website. A 10% discount at playbetter would bring it to 3149 usd. I think it is a bargain for a limited edition product as I tried playbetter before and they are great.
So with the mevo + and pro package on sale right now and If I guy plans on using GoPro, is the limited edition worth it? Any upside to it rather than getting the plus and pro package on sale?
I really love the mevo+ the only thing that stopped me from choosing it as my launch monitor is that people have said that the radar has issues when fans or heaters are running which is really unfortunate when trying to use it for an indoor simulator. Has anyone had this issue or is it really not an issue?
It can be an issue yeah. If i run a fan i put it against a wall somewhere in the garage and try to keep airflow up high rather than on the floor. The heater is the same i run it into the corner of my garage and it will heat the garage still without causing it issues but basically dont aim any airflow generating electronic directly in its path and youll be ok.
Nice review! Just for confirmation, is there anything that this unit or the Mevo+ 2023 model can physically do or physically do more accurately what the original Mevo+2020 version can't? Besides the battery and stand and color scheme is there any difference in the hardware of the units? This is really important because it's possible to get 2020 Mevo+ units second hand under $1000 where I live. If the 2020 version really isn't different in any other way other than the the above mentioned and the extra software options bundled into it then I think it makes sense to buy a second hand 2020 version and upgrade it with the pro package if required and just play GSPro with it. Am I missing something else that will make my experience with the new Limited Edition so much better if I'm just going to play GSPro with it anyway?
There is no hardware difference, just a new paint job and longer battery life, and access to the E6 bundle. If you are just gonna play GSPro then the older versions will be more than enough. Just make sure to update the firmware to the latest version.

Gabe, at the beginning of the video you were hitting your 9-iron ~ 135 - 138 yards, and you say that is normal for you. As your caddie I now have a data point for you. At #7 at Pebble Beach you come up short and to the left, another data point for your caddie. Fast forward to #18 at Bay Hill where you hit your drive to 228 yards. For your second shot you have164 yards out, with a very slight helping wind blowing left. You say, "I'm between a 8 and 7-iron" so you decide on the 7-iron. Once again you come up short and to the left. You have to carry the water that is to your right right and you say you want to hit a slight fade. As your caddie, I'm shaking my head in disbelief. Gabe, leave your ego at the door next time, go with an easy 6-iron for that shot, and do not fade it in the direction of the water. Mevo, if you don't already have it, for your future product line have a caddie function. The caddie function learns the players game based on his/her shots under a multitude of weather and course conditions. Now when Gabe comes up to a hole on his Mevo simulator the caddie will suggest the best club to use for him to be successful. As always Gabe, I enjoy all your product reviews....keep up the great work.

@@LetsPlayThru yes it does but you were at or near the back on all of them. How much ball flight does this unit recommend, not the minimum, but what do they recommend? A year ago I passed on the Meva plus because when I dug down deep it was 12 to 14 feet, but you would only find that in the support forums.
If it doesn't compensate for range balls, it's useless to me since I cannot set up my own indoor range. I see it does. Good.
Price tag puts me out on this one, getting very excited as the video progressed, then the price tag came like a swift kick in the nuts.
🤣🤣 hey at least it was swift and didn’t linger!
Ok, I’m not tech savvy at all. Is this capable of taking an using on any an every course I play? Then the obvious of course, how much does this cost?
I don’t think that would be the best use case for it. It’s more for practice and playing simulated golf indoors.
Great video Gabe!
Thanks Jock. Nice to meet you in Orlando.
Great video
Mini USB at this point means they wanted to make it as cheaply as possible.
So excited for this review! Thx Gabe for always delivering timely reviews!
It was my absolute pleasure. So pumped to use mine
Post subscriptions are a massive deterrent
like the shot tracing feature..
Yeah that is something that is so useful. So many folks want it. Glad they are listening to consumers.
I really prefer the Mevo+ Plus Limited Edition MAX-Platinum version....Just a personal preference.
😂. What are you talking about? There is no such thing as a Max-Platinum version. I just called Flightscope...
Doh!! @@pierrebrisebois3158
Nice product but as others have said, it is just too expensive for most golfers.
Pretty neat stuff! I would love the shot tracer feature. I am a creator also and know exactly what you mean. Sure would help to have that!
I play a lot in the mornings and that's the worst. When there's shadow and sun, I end up having to manually trace almost every shot. This just works. I loved it.
These new features coming out in the past it cost $$. something to think about. The no subscription is ok but you want the best sim software GSPRO will cost $250 a year
$3,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great video, you lost me at $3,499. I'll stick to my $599 Garmin R10. Golf tech isn't cheap.
Thanks, and enjoy the R10. Still a fantastic unit and value.
Come caddie for me JP, let’s do this🙌
jajajajajajajajaa 10:01 the ball es in the left and the line track is in the right. I won't buy this Moniton
I think that’s the camera angle. That trace was spot on as were the others I hit. I was actually shocked how accurate it was.
$3500+?!? Way to pricey for this poor public school teacher!
2 grand I’m in
3500 I’m out
Regular Mevo+ might be the right play there if you don’t need the fancy new features
They still are not within reach! Besides I don’t have an indoor sim space to use it, which is what so want it for.
gimmies set to ten feet lol. a lot of amateurs sweat over a two footer smh.
That's a limitation of the unit, it can't read short putts. So this is the ideal setting unless you want to pull your hair out.
Too much technology.
The average golfer has enough trouble affording a round of golf. This is ridiculous. Thanks for nothing.
