- This homeless dog living in a cardboard box on the streets was rescued by Howl Of A Dog organization and this is an update rescue video celebrating 4 years since he was adopted.
Buzu spent his days sleeping in his little “shelter” or wandering around the streets longing for attention and food scraps. We asked passers-by and people in that neighborhood, trying to get more details about Buzu and if he had an owner. All we managed to find out was that he was a stray dog and had been living in that area for more than a year. When we returned later, the old cushion was no longer inside the box. After so much time on the streets he seemed in a way resigned to his fate, to his life of unending loneliness. His fur was riddled with fleas and had patches of hair missing on his neck, back and tail. Deprived of medical care on the streets, his skin problems aggravated and became chronic. We had him put on specific medication (additionally to his skin issues, he also suffered from an ear infection) and received medicated baths regularly, but the fur never grew back on the affected areas. His teeth were extremely torn, due to improper food, such as bones that he most likely ate when he was homeless. Buzu spent one year in our care at Howl Of A Dog and then was adopted by a wonderful family from England. More details and photos of Buzu are available here: www.howlofadog...

We really don't deserve dogs. Despite the fact they face terrible conditions, neglect, etc. from their horrible owners, dogs are still able to love humans and it saddens me that they would ever treat Buzu like that. I'm so proud that Buzu finally have a home and was able to keep hope! Go little bud!!

I agree with you some people never realize the value of the owner to their dog and some tend to mistreat them so bad but still they give uncondional love.
The person who went out of there way to give the stray dog with a bowl and bed and cardboard shelter. Is a hero for me for this dog. The person and shelter for this dog are AMAZING.
I wouldnt be surprised if that person was also homeless. I had seem homeless people treat dogs with more love and care than many many people with money. I saw a guy share his very limited food with his dog even though he barely had enough for himself.

I saw him when me and my cousin were going to the shops. We gave him food and when we got home we begged our grandparents to help him. Surprisingly the agreed, so we made the shelter.

I am from india and here in india many homeless dogs live on streets without food and shelter . After watching your video i adopted a street dog and now i am taking care of him . Hope more people will get motivated by your video and will have love and care for street dogs . 👏👏👏👏👏

My great aunt (who passed away 5 years ago) took in a stray in her neighbourhood in Los Angeles. She was wondering whether to keep the dog or take it to the pound. One night the dog started barking and howling like crazy in the downstairs of her house. She went to find out what all the fuss was about. At that moment, the LA earthquake happened (94'). When she returned to her room, she discovered the ceiling had fallen onto her bed with timber joists etc..
She kept 'Maggie' and they became best friends.

You would be surprised, people in Romanian steal everything from dogs. Once my friend put a nice collar to a stray dog and the next day it was gone. Only a person with no soul will steal from a homeless dog.

@@stricknine8623 it was probably give so they wouldn't be counted as a stray and taken to the pound to be killed. It might have had info so that if it did end up in the pound it wouldn't be killed after a while or anything like that.
I helped a lady feed a colony of cats while she was away, and every time I cane back to feed there were bowls missing. So yes, people don't care.

If you go places like Romania, Greece etc there’s stray dogs and cats everywhere, it’s sad that it becomes the norm but locals can’t really do much about it I guess they just live with it innit
