@@LivingTheDream77 It’s a crossover/CUV which are generally more stable due to their lower center of gravity. Still a significant impact or excess speed can lead to rollovers.
@@EricFortuneJr. nthsa has rollover ratings and probabilities for all vehicles, cuvs and suvs have much higher rollover probabilities than sedans on avg.
it looks perfect, the only complain is molding detaching from right pillar , what if it will stick a little lower
I own a 2020 escape, that plastic is literally thinner than a credit card. It might not feel good, but I really doubt it would do any damage

If the car was 100% rigid then then people inside would have to manage all that energy.

yeah the more friable material allows the front end of the car to absorb more of the impact before it reaches the driver
There's a video of a '59 Chevy vs. '09 Malibu. The big Impala lost. If a person had been in the car, they would likely have died.
