      I'm more interested in why Fed did it. Training with Carlos would have had to be at 100% or close to it, as it was during the tournament (unless these two minutes was all that really happened that day). And if he did indeed had a full practice session with Carlos means that Roger is now sufficiently injury-free. Which raises some questions. Was it a test drive of his fitness level and readiness to return to the tour? 🤔🧐

    • @fckwful
      @fckwful 3 месяца назад

      I guess it's only with a camera on court level, that you can see the effectiveness of that slice backhand. It is so low that's almost impossible to hit the ball with a two handed backhand. Maybe it's the same with the kick-serve, when the ball is bouncing very high and you have to hit a two handed backhand at the height of your head. When the camera is placed very high, you can't see how high or low the ball is bouncing.

    This is the video we’ve all been waiting for. Well, the ‘one set’ is, but I’m sure we’re still very happy with this

    Damn he still looks good strokes wise. Years of mastering his craft and now he gets to enjoy retirement with style. Hope to see many more Federer Alacaraz moments in the future

    Just imagine how Alcaraz was feeling in that exact moment, he got to practice with one of the person he was looking up to, I know I'd be beyond thrilled, I absolutely love Roger Federer.

    Do you realize that Roger at 43 could be top100 easily

      No he could not. The body isn't there anymore. Even though his skill is impressive as ever, when you lose even a small percentage of your strength, ATP tour is unforgiving.
