This was at Brandys piano bar on the upper east side!!!One of my very favorite places on earth the first time I saw Joe Sing this I never forgot it- anyone know if he is still working there??
Years ago I worked in the piano bar/cabaret scene with Joe, and I can tell you he's honestly one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet as well as being able to sing like a bleeding angel. I'm glad other people are giving him the notice he deserves.
Read about him on Yahoo. So glad they highlighted him as this is natural as you can find and for the pure love of the music. IF I ever travel to NYC, I will def. stop by this piano bar and enjoy the evening!
What a gift! I could feel his emotion in every note. So nice to read all of the positive comments about Joe and how well he is thought of. Let's hope good things come to this very talented man. I'd be first to get the album!
Its about time that the world know how amazing Joe Ardizzone is!! I have been lucky enough to be his friend for a very long time and I have always been blown away by his talent! Please share this with everyone you know. he deserves every bit of this long overdue success!! xoxo Anne
For anyone interested in recordings of Joe, he sang duets with singer Sarah Mucho on two tunes by The Sometime Boys on their most recent album 'Ice and Blood'. He's on both 'Night Life' and 'Teardrop'. Both are available for download at CD Baby & pretty much everywhere else. So happy to see Joe getting some recognition!
I love when you can hear their heart behind their voice. It shows you who really loves what they are doing. Whether its for a handful of tipsy people or an entire auditorium.
This is more impressive because of its spontaneity. TV talent show contestants have known their big moment was coming and devoted every waking moment to being ready for it. Ardizzone, on the other hand, "prepped" for this moment by spending a night on his feet making drinks and pouring beers.
I live 2 blocks away from brandy's and this guy is absolutely amazing. Everyone at this bar should have record labels (a few do) While this was ridiculous, his version of Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah brought me to borderline tears.
Obviously it's a more theatrical arrangement but it is wonderful. It's awesome to see a song convey meaning in multiple styles. One of my favorites next to Homeless Mustard.
Having known Joe for almost five years, I think I speak for the masses when I say he is one of a kind in every way possible. Plus, this is way better than Dolly Parton rapping. She must be eliminated...
Who is this???? It’s Christmas and I’ve listened to THIS song over and over!! Somebody sign this guy immediately ! I love him!
Hands down, one of the best covers I've heard of this song!
YOU WERE BORN TO SING DARLING, TO CONNECT WITH PEOPLE AND MAKE THEM FEEL SOMETHING!
