This is one of my favourite scenes because it's a perfect example of what makes this show so good. The believability of the characters friendships. It's as realistic as a TV show can get.
This is the moment where I end up making a scene with Scrubs and Kutless as god knows what and I’ll wait until I catch up in Season 2 right after Season 1 on the mix. 🙂
I'm personally an Atheist, yet I love Christian music. It's probably the warmth it brings the listener, and it fits Scrubs oh-so well, especially in a moment like this.
I really don't care how you feel about Christian music, this is one of the most beautiful scenes on television. I was actually a little stunned after I saw it the first time. Heck, after the second time, too.
I feel the same way I’m not the biggest fan of Christian music in general but this song was perfect for this Scene no other song could this scene Justice
Lol, I totally loved when Elliot slapped Keith, too!!! This was the first time I ever heard "All of the Words" by Kutless & I have loved that song ever since. That was such a great choice for this scene - Carla & Turk were blessed with the baby they wanted for so long!!!
At the first time I watched this scene, I was so touched and just couldn't help crying. It's really a beautiful scene and the music's awesome as well. Scrubs, my favorit show ever!!
When they are all huging it just shows when something really important happens, all the characters really care for each other despite the face they usually put on.
simply awesome!! scrubs rules, this scene always makes me cry... the only other scene in scrubs that does that to me is the funeral scene in season 3 when ben died... i also cried when they played chasing cars in grey's anotomy in the season 2 finale... if you have seen that scene you will know what i mean
why doesnt this song get nearly as much of attention as it should!! its sooo good and i never hear about it before this scrubs episode. best episode by the way
I just saw this episode on tv and recognized Kutless. Some may have objections to using this song in a show like Scrubs(which can be rather raunchy!). However, as a Christian, in putting this song in the context of the scene, it's like they are praising God for the gift of a child in their lives because they tried for so long. There's actually several people in the Bible who were given children when they never thought they could have any
LOL man I love when Keith tries to shake her hand :) Seriously Keith is one of the most under-rated characters on Scrubs, I just hope they don't go down the cliche path and have JD and Elliot get back together right at the end, that would SUCK. Keith is awesome and he deserves to be there right at the end.
i had to delete whole scrubs seasons coz of some reasons... but i kept this episode 16th ..jus coz of this scene.... :) love to watch it again and again ... expressions are priceless... the way elliot reacts , jumps and hugs ...awesome .. the way coz raises to carla... awesome .. :) Best scene ever... music AWESOME ....
I think the meaning of the song doesn't necessarily have to refer to god. Yes the band wrote it for him but it can also deal with the much bigger aspect of love and friendship. That to me is what this scene represents.
This takes me back to a time when love was boundless, untouched by hate-a realm of purity and infinite potential, where each moment whispered the unseen promise of the cosmos' endless wonders and laughing at ourselves, because we were it, what was it, what is it? we are it...
I believe it's the "mellowness," like you said. I'm very fond of this time of music, the sound is so soothing. It's much better, in my opinion, than all of the metal and rap I hear daily. It's all about the sound. I indulge in Japanese music, and I'll be the first to admit I don't understand the language. I just like the way it sounds.
I love the use of the song and the moment where you think that Carla will be angry with Turk about the news but she doesn't care because she's pregnant.
the moment she says "i'm pregnant", i started crying with happyness... i have 5 series on DVD and love that episode, hell scrubs rules and bill lawrence is my hero!!
I know, right?!?!?!?! I'm a believer who adores Scrubs and I was pretty surprised when I heard Kutless' song playing in the background of this scene. However, God can totally use a show like Scrubs to reach out to people if he wants to =)
There is a bit cut off where JD was tackled By the janitor and Nurse robberts Hammer throws all the Fruit. it's just not dramatic enough without that scene where JD talks about Pondering D:
That was on the semi-finale. I think they got some bad rep about that because they sang it again with "My Jesus, My saviour" in the finale. Which was nice.
Elliot knew about the pregnancy before Carla did and she almost slipped and let out the secret. Instead, to cover up, Elliot told Carla that she was fighting with Keith. Everytime Carla would walk into Elliot and Keith, Elliot would act mean towards him.
Probably the scene that makes me love so much this show. Miss you Scrubs.
one of the best TV moments.. i love Scrubs and this song was perfect for it.. shows that no matter what Gods love for us is huge :)
unforgettable moment on Scrubs :) ;) one of the best scenes and this song made it perfect
This is one of my favourite scenes because it's a perfect example of what makes this show so good. The believability of the characters friendships. It's as realistic as a TV show can get.
This must be my favourite song from the show.
It's so beautiful.
Almost brought me to tears
love this episode.. don't think i've ever seen Cox or Jordan so genuinely happy.
Can watch this a million times but still bring a tear to my eye
Same here
I just watched this episode for the first time
This is the moment where I end up making a scene with Scrubs and Kutless as god knows what and I’ll wait until I catch up in Season 2 right after Season 1 on the mix. 🙂
Love this scene and this song
i love how they played a christian song for scrubs
I love this scene, its touching and emotional, the song fits perfect and everyone seems so happy, how they all are in their hearts.
I'm personally an Atheist, yet I love Christian music. It's probably the warmth it brings the listener, and it fits Scrubs oh-so well, especially in a moment like this.

Makes me tear up after the 15th time I see it too.
I wouldn't be surprised if the song was Zach Braff's idea. He always had the best tracks in any film he appeared in :)
Great song and one of my favorite scenes from this show!!
Lol, I totally loved when Elliot slapped Keith, too!!! This was the first time I ever heard "All of the Words" by Kutless & I have loved that song ever since. That was such a great choice for this scene - Carla & Turk were blessed with the baby they wanted for so long!!!

and kutless' song fits perfectly into the scene.
When they are all huging it just shows when something really important happens, all the characters really care for each other despite the face they usually put on.

The song selection is perfect.....as usual.
THIS IS MY FAVORITE EPISODE OF ALL TIME!!! It gets to me everytime :')

Gives me goosebumps °.° ... you're right, it's so damn perfect!

I’m an atheist and this is one of my favourite songs.
Same bro
wow, great clip, that was soooooo great, really made me smile that they put a christian song in :)
I think the meaning of the song doesn't necessarily have to refer to god. Yes the band wrote it for him but it can also deal with the much bigger aspect of love and friendship. That to me is what this scene represents.
The song is called All Of The Words by Kutless. Such a good song, i downloaded the album.
Albums is really good aswell.
Hoped that helped
JD is adorable haha.
This takes me back to a time when love was boundless, untouched by hate-a realm of purity and infinite potential, where each moment whispered the unseen promise of the cosmos' endless wonders and laughing at ourselves, because we were it, what was it, what is it? we are it...
I love this scene...
perfection....
Everyone needs a friend like JD
Why scrubs was a great show.
It's moments like this that remind how great a show Scrubs really is.
BTW, I love it when Eliot slaps Keith, it kills me everytime! lol
pretty song used at the perfect part of a great show!!!
the best song that you can ever choose for that episode
I miss this show, but I've seen it about 4 times now >.>
I believe it's the "mellowness," like you said. I'm very fond of this time of music, the sound is so soothing. It's much better, in my opinion, than all of the metal and rap I hear daily. It's all about the sound.

this is one of the best moments of turk, along with the proposal in the park.
I love the use of the song and the moment where you think that Carla will be angry with Turk about the news but she doesn't care because she's pregnant.
This was one of those moments.
Dude that's awesome that they played Kutless on Scrubs all glory To God
the moment she says "i'm pregnant", i started crying with happyness... i have 5 series on DVD and love that episode, hell scrubs rules and bill lawrence is my hero!!
I'm all like, this is Kutless! Good episode.
Kutless is amazing.
Невероятно! Надеюсь ты продолжил и стал музыкантом!)
Yeah, we are! Aaaww, that's so sweet.
10/10 in my opinion. Todd also impress me, he's in every single clip in the end. I guess the Todd can be anywhere he is needed.
Kutless ROCKS! And it does fit the scene, I think. Not that I've ever actually seen Scrubs.
well done!
brilliant episode (: one of my favourites for sure. loved it when eliott slapped keith :D
Watched this last night, had to find the song :)
The guy's name is Arnold Faison I believe. He was also in Remember the Titans.
@M4Shanks, That was the season finale cast party. Technically, that was Zach Braff, not J.D..
sat next to john micah, -kutless's lead singer- in church a few sundays ago.
I know, right?!?!?!?! I'm a believer who adores Scrubs and I was pretty surprised when I heard Kutless' song playing in the background of this scene. However, God can totally use a show like Scrubs to reach out to people if he wants to =)
LOL i love that its soooo funny and I also love the part where Carla says "we're having a baby" and then JD says "Yeah we are" lol
Thanks for the correction, there was a black dude named Arnold on Different Strokes (Gary Coleman), maybe that is where I got the names mixed up.
I was really surprised that Kutless song was on Scrubs!
This Touch Me Sooo *__*
This slap😂
Look up All of The words by Kutless.
carla - we having a baby
JD - yeah we are xD
Omgosh Dr. Cox looks just like my dad its scary! I LOVE THIS SCENE MY FAV!
@wombat909
dude , JD's awesome :P
I laughed so hard when he screwed up xD
It is possible that the hug could be scripted. Extras would do that as well if the director motioned them to.
I hope 7's finale has a nice ending like this
the show has alot of good christian music/bands, anyone know if that is solely on purpose? a great show :) i need to watch the last season!
There is a bit cut off where JD was tackled By the janitor and Nurse robberts Hammer throws all the Fruit. it's just not dramatic enough without that scene where JD talks about Pondering D:
guys, melody is her best friend from college, Not highschool! piwi got it right except for that part
That was on the semi-finale. I think they got some bad rep about that because they sang it again with "My Jesus, My saviour" in the finale. Which was nice.
" I was the linchpin of our plan " flop 😜
Loving that fact that its a Christian song!
Elliot knew about the pregnancy before Carla did and she almost slipped and let out the secret. Instead, to cover up, Elliot told Carla that she was fighting with Keith. Everytime Carla would walk into Elliot and Keith, Elliot would act mean towards him.
I love this song, and its a christian song which is great!
j plane i wanna fuck a dog in the ass
dr. cox would say: "daisy, that was sooo dorian!"
How can I not find this song
