Look, I hate the 9th season reboot too as a whole. However, the first 3 maybe 4 episodes were great (i.e., JD mentoring his mentor or Turk and him going on one last hurrah). I think some of those episodes were good, but the ones after JD left were terrible
I was an ER nurse and lost a young patient in one of the toughest shifts of my career. I was second guessing and questioning whether if I had done anything differently if they would have made it. I went home and happened to watch the butterfly episode after work that night…fans will know what I’m talking about when I say I laughed and sobbed and felt understood. I can’t tell you what that episode meant to me at the time, and to this day. I also still think of the ton of bricks scene with the lady declining dialysis and how accurate that is a representation of the first time you have that kind of conversation with a patient. Thank you to the scrubs show creator and cast for the humor that made it possible for me and so many others in healthcare to process some really difficult life and death situations.

Dear Bill and cast and crew, This is one of my favorite shows ever. I was in my early 20s and was my Dad’s caregiver. He was diagnosed with early on-set dementia. Dad and I spent a lot of time in doctors offices, the nursing home, and hospitals. I also discovered Scrubs around this time and fell in love with this show. Dad lived to make people smile and laugh and this show was just what I needed during that time to make me smile. It was one of the few things that could bring me joy during that time. I can’t thank y’all enough. ❤️ Please have a reunion!!! Ted Lasso and Scrubs would be just the combination of goodness we need after the last few years!!! BELIEVE
Nurse here, this show was absolutely one of my inspirations! The episode which made how to save a life a house hold name still plays in my head when i encounter similar situations. Death is something we are forced to encounter on a daily basis. And scrubs took that and found some humor in it. And its like a window into how we all really act with eachother at work.
One of the best shows hands down that I look back on fondly. The chemistry was something else. I'd watch this coming off some pretty intense 12-14hr shifts at my hospital
This show was so great, I cannot believe it never won an Emmy or other awards. They were all so brilliant and the writing was awesome, not like today's shows.
What a fantastic show. Scrubs helped me get through the hardest time of my life. Thank you so much for the laughs and perspective. Ted is sorely missed.
Glad to hear a new generation of kids found SCRUBS. I watched this show hundreds of times but I was surprised how accurate they were to reality in the medical arena ?
Yeah I discovered it on Netflix in 2013 in college. Fell in love and watched the whole thing. Since then I’ve added it to my rotation of shows I like to re-binge every now and then
Very. Im a doctor and lots of stuff are quite good. Some "questions" or technical stuff are off (washing hands without mask or fact that Turk do surgery on both brain and appendix) but overall with just daily life in clinic hospital it is quite good. I was sad that there was never "doctors room/office" shown. They only show some social room
YES in person! I've been listening to their podcast Fake Doctors, Real Friends and they really are just all tight knit still. Very wholesome to hear (even when they're not speaking about very wholesome things haha.)
One of the best shows ever, well at least the first eight seasons! I still go back and binge it and it's still funny and poignant as ever! The season eight finale is still one of the best finales of all time!
I had noticed the show somewhat when it was on, but just wrote it off as funny doctor stuff. Then I bought the season 1 DVD used and fell in love with it. The jokes were funny, but there was medical insight and some amazingly touching moments. I got the rest of the DVDs and the quality of the shows stayed top-notch. Also, the doctors evolved from newbies to experienced doctors.
Zach Braff’s comedic timing was so good, and John C. McGinley made Dr. Cox such a memorable character. But I really fell in love with this show when they incorporated Colin Hay from Men at Work singing Overkill in the first episode of Season 2. That’s when Scrubs became cool.

This show is one of, if not THE best, sitcoms to ever grace our screens. It made you laugh, it made you cry, and feel everything else in between. It was all capped off by the PERFECT series finale (in my and many other's head cannon season 9 is a "Med School" subtitled spin-off and not the official continuation) that is only topped/tied by the series finale of MASH. While I would enjoy additional times with these characters I love I'm also perfectly content with re-experiencing the 8 years of entertainment we were gifted with.
