He was my best friend and I struggle with him not being with us any longer. As I’m looking at videos of pretty birds talking and the dogs playing carefree - I find this video. I thank you from my heart for making me smile.

I think that Jethro is correct. That is pretty much her natural sound, she doesn't have to force it. Listen to her singing other songs that are not Carpenter's songs. She sounds a bit like Karen covering those other singers. I enjoyed the video of her singing a Carpenter's song with Richard present. All I have to do is close my eyes, no I don’t bring back memories, I just find it relaxing an enjoyable as is, your sweet voice with the song and the wonderful way you vibrate the words just the right way, very pleasing.
