A song by Don Schlitz and Paul Overstreet. Don wrote or co-wrote 24 No. 1's and high charted 42 more. His first ever song was "The Gambler" by Kenny Rogers.. He and Paul also wrote most of Randy Travis's biggest hits including the two "Song-Of-The-Year award songs. My favorite was "I Feel Lucky" by Mary Chapin Carpenter. This song has been covered by several of he biggest names in the business. The biggest was the late Keith Whitley.
Ronan Keating from the boy band Boyzone recorded this song, it reached #1 here in the UK, it was included in the soundtrack of the romcom "Notting Hill" in 1999.😊
