- E452: the Project desert storm Amiga 1200 gets repaired from a non working state. Machine randomly boots, turns out it literally burnt the CIA right out of the board. magic smoke and all. fun fun. does it live? stay tuned.

Those waffles are decadent! I feel so guilty when I indulge. I don't eat for a week after a binging episode. Excellent learning experience.

Stroopwafels are good. but sooo bad. Well done on the repair. If you got the waffles out earlier, you could have warmed them up on the CIA.

If you need 3.2.2 with EHIDE baked into it, I finally figured out how to do it.
That mess inside case between Plastic Sheet & Shield , is probably SOFT DRINK, I have seen it before, in a C64's as well ... At Least Chip blowing smell better than Amiga PSU's Dying in Flame, Nice Save as usual & FDD Service Tutorial .... You have made a Temperate Sensor a Thing I will purchase, I haven't used them before, (Using a finger), but the Temperature Sensor looks more Professional .. :)

I have an a1200 with socketted CIA (keyboard) and its a right pain the a$$ - my sum up USB keyboard adapter now won't fit over the top of the CIA . . . . . . .
Oh man I have. Rev2B that I had to change CIA twice to fix a flaky floppy issue btw I don't like using an adapter for the CIA as my first one failed and needed replacement
I had someone from the Netherlands send me Stroopwafels. Good stuff. We have them in the States too (Target stores of all places) but I have to wonder if the formula is changed as is often the case with other sugary snacks.
