Great work on the TF1260, Chris. 👍👍👍
Have also a TF1260 Alpha with a Rev6 CPU on it. Must trim the copper heatsink for the 68060 CPU to get a stable 100MHz in my A1200 case.

Wasn't boring at all. It was like watching an underwater horror movie. Great job! Let's see how many, "you should have used hot air", comments you get.

Patience of a Saint Dr Chris….👍🏻 I was on the edge of my seat when you were moving those pins. No good me trying, I’m now known as #The Destroyer 🤣🤣🤣 After my attempt at repairing a A4000D Rev 2 (C) Board… 😬

And there's me worrying about the upcoming prospect of two solder blobs to remove and replace the battery on my Blizzard 1230 Mk IV...

haha, today my wife cut my starlink cable in half while cutting grass for the guinea pigs, until just now that was the most uncoordinated thing I had seen today. Good fix :) (also as you can see I've rejoined my cable.. although the ethernet adapter is shorted out.. rip)

To make that kind of damage you really have to go for it, amazingly brutal.
Luckely for that fat fingers, the Grand Amiga Master was there. 😛

I hope this video saves a few Amigas from unprepared repair. Without the correct tools, skill, and experience, electronic repair efforts damage plenty of Amigas.

Thank you for adding metric values. I highly apprechiate that. Keep up the good work saving old Amigas. Had an A1200 with an 68030/50 accelerator and a 420 MB 3.5" HDD back in the day, but like most of us I sold it after buying my first PC (Pentium 75). Thank you very much 👍

Hey Chris... the motion you showed on the Intel tool was incorrect. The instructions that came with it said to push only. (And if you pull, you can bend the tool...) All the best.
