graphite paper is nice, or your could just rubb graphic on the back of the paper, more cost efficient

I haven't done any block printing in many years. But when we carved linoleum blocks, we used an iron to warm and soften the linoleum to make cutting easier and smoother. Is this still the case? Or are the linoleum blocks now made of a softer material? I've seen a newer soft block on the market but do they take detail really well? Make clean crisp prints?

+Kim Conover With traditional linoleum (Battleship Grey, Golden Cut, etc), it is still common to heat or warm the surface for easier carving. If you don’t want to worry about the material drying out or hardening, then consider the new synthetic blocks that remain soft. The Blick Ready Cut and the Speedball Speedy Carve Blocks are soft options that allow for detailed carves. If you have additional questions, you can reach Blick Product Information at 1-800-933-2542 or info@dickblick.com. Thanks!

Thank you for answering my questions. I plan to try one of the new soft blocks very soon- probably the blick. Thanks again.

Couldn't see the zip cutter; what it looks like or precisely how it was used. Would have been nice to have a close up on that. Also more info about your various papers and inks. I'm a beginner and don't know what my options are.
