Im a park ranger in snæfellsjökulsþjóðgarður and I would just like to thank you for pointing out all the important factors of keeping the tourist sites as preserved as we can, such as when you pointed out walking outside of a path. Really important info!!
Thank you for your comment! This really means a lot to us. We try to gently educate wherever we can, and sticking to a path is really the least that can be done :)
It is always a treat to watch your videos, the amount of precision it goes behind your cinematography and narration, we are just lucky we can watch this for free. This channel is massively underrated.
Starting from the breathtaking beauty of Iceland till the awe of Cinematography, Surreal Music , Picture perfect voicelines and the sense of calmess in the voice and the whole video , this maybe the best depiction of Iceland EVER on youtube . Stunning Job Lucas !!!!
You two are the best on RUclips about places while traveling in my opinion, Thank you again after watching your brilliant Norway video, you speak almost Poetically, Peace
This video has a criminally low amount of likes. The filming, editing, narrating is so professional. Outstanding drone work and outstanding cinematography. I hope you achieve that golden 4:1 views to like ratio on this video.
Thank you so much for your kind words! A lot of our viewers watch on their TV, which explains our low like and subscriber ratios, I believe. But hey, as long as people enjoy our documentaries, we are really happy :)
You've done an amazing work with this documentary - The way you show Iceland through your lenses, through your eyes and how you transport us directly to the adventure with a beautiful narrative is just amazing. Thanks for creating and sharing this magnific content!
I turned it on just to have something in the background during my house chores, but soon I found myself paying all my attention to the monitor and hooked by your poetic narration. It seems you have a beautiful soul that helps you transfer such beauty to the viewer.
One thing I must mention, the narration is so sweet that it is both pleasing to the eyes and ears! I really enjoyed the entire series and will definitely give it a rewatch any time I feel stressed! I am glad I came across this channel! Thanks for this beautiful content!
I feel you miss the unique beauty of Iceland when it’s covered in snow. If I didn’t know you were in Iceland I could not have guessed from the footage. Cinematography is excellent and music is perfect
Since I have no plans of going there during winter,I enjoyed the breathtaking sceneries of Iceland thru your vlogs( excellent videos and narratives).Your the only vlogs that showed Iceland as it’s best during winter. Thanks
This brings back so many wonderful memories. We (wife and I) had our first trip ever to Iceland on 2022 and I fell in love with it. Unfortunately, we couldn't do the Golden ring due to time but what we did, Reykjavik to Egilsstadir, was so mesmerizing that we will go back for the rest. The raw beauty, the scenery, the openness, the people.....I can't single anything out because it was all incredible and I love the fact that it's kept in its natural beauty. Iceland is a MUST for anyone. Until next time Iceland!!!!
I'm literally speechless! Don't know how to express this magnificent beauty of Iceland! Extremely well made video! Countless times I've said 'oh my god just look!"😅 Brilliant just brilliant! Love from India 🇮🇳
Lived in Keflavik for 3 years in the military. I drove a front wheel drive Toyota Tercel. Never got stuck. Just watch the BLACK ICE. That is what killed Americans while I was there. Safest country ever. If you see someone stranded it's their law you must stop and assist in white out conditions. Blue Lagoon is a must.
Breathtaking Iceland! Didn’t know all these wonders existed there. Beautiful waterfalls, lava fields, numerous churches & crystal clear water to dive in. Thanks for such a wonderful adventure. 🙋🏼♀️👍🏻🇺🇸
First of all I want to start by saying your video is world class! Such a beautiful documentary. I was in Iceland for 2 weeks about a week ago (end of sept to second week of Oct) and now that I'm back home I miss it so very much. Your video takes me right back but gives me a whole different view and I can't wait to go back again. I would definitely recommend going in the spring or fall season so you can get a more wholesome experience of Iceland while still skipping the large tourist crowds
Thank you very much! Highly appreciate that 😊 we definitely have plans to return to Iceland because there is still so much to be explored. Let’s see when that will happen 😊
After watching the Norway documentary, I am watching this now, towards completion... it's really captivating and very well picturised, documented. Great work!!!
I think Iceland should pay you for your public information service - this was a great advert for a great place. Thank you for the effort you clearly put into this.
Hi there you two. That is one of the best travel video i have seen, Great job you guys! Now I just need to work more on videos. Thanks for the inspiration...
We went to Iceland last summer while the volcano was erupting. We booked a helicopter ride over the top of it, but it was going so hard it was producing it's own weather and we weren't permitted to fly. Other then that, we saw a number of the sights shown here; absolutely awesome! I'm already planning a winter overlanding trip for this coming year - can't wait to go back!
There's beauty in snow covered landscape and there are those that don't. Somehow, Iceland reminds me of melancholy, isolation and death. Death Stranding.
Great Documentary Lucas, was lucky enough to be there with my daughter in August 2021 and witness the Volcano erupting in front of our eyes in exactly the spot you were stood in 🌋 a once in a lifetime moment. Will be returning next year in Summer again and 4x4 to witness the Westfjords and Glacier regions that we didn’t access last time. An incredible country ❤️🇮🇸
Your narration filming editing and planning was really excellent. I’ve binge watched 3 trips that you and lovely wife have done. So naturally exciting that you live the outdoors like myself. I’d much rather be in nature than a city for vacation. Thank you for the production💕it’s a great escape for me as well✨💫
Wow. What a fantastic documentary! As a child I always wanted to visit or live in Germany and I realized that dream at 28 years old when I lived there from 2000-2003. As an adult I want to visit Iceland. I'm not sure that will happen but this documentary let me see and experience this beautiful country in an unexpected way. And during the winter which I love! Thank you for sharing your travels with us and I look forward to watching more of your videos. :)
Seen several documentaries of Iceland in summer, but this is the first in winter. I got cold seeing you! But how beautiful. Specially the black beaches always are amazing. And the blue inside the glacier! Thank you so much for sharing your trips with us house sparrows!
Probably the best video I have seen on Iceland. I was there is 2017 and this vid brings back good memories. Thank you very much. Greetings from Singapore.
I'd say summertime would always be my preference when it comes to visiting Iceland. I can still remember all the wonderful colors I've witnessed back in August 2017 and you get lots of daylight too! Still, the advantage I guess of going in winter is that there's much less tourists and prices I think would be cheaper? And of course the winter landscape itself will have its unique charm too! Thanks for sharing. :)
Hey, what a treat! Your videos are so excellent, so rich and informativ. Thanks for letting us take part in your beautiful adventures, I look so forward to hopefully revisit with both of you in summertime💕

I did the almost identical route twice, once in winter (Nov 2009) and once in summer (Jun 2011) but with a driver guide. Iceland is a truly magical place! Went off roading through Iceland wilderness and lost a wheel after hitting a rock while crossing a stream. Had to wait for tow vehicle in the fast fading lights of winter 2009. What an adventure!
I was so delighted to see this upload I didn't want the fun to end in one go, so watched it in 25 min parts over four days and prolonged the happiness of watching your video. Great narration and story as always, Kudos👍
