I just got my pair in today as well from Nike. The quality and craftsmanship are definitely there on these. The leather are way softer and tumbled than the recent 12 "The Master". Nike did a great job on my pair, I couldn't find any flaws or anything I could nitpick about.

I hooped in all my 12s back in 03,04, and 05.. I had the breds, playoffs, nd french blues.. I love 12s because u can take em indoor or outdoor nd they play great
I have my Jordan 8 "bugs bunny" but I don't use it for ballin yet I use my Jordan 28 instead. I love those shoes and nightwing help me a lot on choosing the 28. Thanks Chris. More power.
Can you continue to do videos discussing sneaker tech. Not simply stating what is on the sneaker description but (like you did in this video) for more shoes. Not many other sneaker channels will discuss that. Your extreme attention to detail makes me driven to watch you're videos. keep up the great work. (been subscribed for years lol)

I agree. Prices should always reflect the tech. Haven't bought a retro in years since I won't be able to play in them comfortably(sign of age 😅). I have my flint xiii's, and I'm happy with those. If they retro those again, I might grab a pair to replace the current one that are showing wear and tear already.

Yo I used to have the exact same pair when i was in the 7th grade in 2007. My cousin gave me his old ones because he didn't play basketball anymore and that was when i was getting really into basketball and playing a lot. It was already broken in already since it was used, so it was comfortable right when i put it on. My Favorite pair of Jordans to play in.

I miss the OG 12. Retro and OG 12, 2 different shoes. :( Thick shoe laces, metal eye lace holders, Thicker and better shaped lizard rand. That toe box points out instead of curling/elf up- probably affects toe comfort. Crazy, All retro GS/Youth size look closer to the OGs.
I agree, those chrome/platinum looking lace holders on the 2009 White/red (Japan) XII doesn't look good on them. Hopefully they retro them again in the future with a nickel finish like on the 2016 french blue XII. As far as walking around or playing ball in, gotta go with the 12s.

hi Chris, just copped them..my first 12s since the very first home colourway I had in highschool. craftsmanship isn't impressive on these IMHO. especially the white leather in the front. they're still super stiff.. on my first pair, I wondered if they really had air at all (compared to the Penny2s and then the Penny3) until I saw a teardown video and saw the full-length air. :-) man, I had to keep refresh my browser for 1.5hrs until I finally found a pair released from someone's basket and copped them..few minutes later after they sold out, they were all over EBay for £240+ (that's £100 more than retail!)

I never had the money to buy any shoe i wanted until last couple years so don't know the sizing on 12s I go down half size on 3s, fours and fives and true to size tens and elevens and the flu game not going to be able to try on before purchasing so want to get it right

It probably depends on how u plan on using the shoe. If u want it for casual then 190 is fair and vice versa.

You should do a video where you are blindfolded then someone hands you some shoes that you put on and you have to guess the cushion, materials, etc.
i used to play in my XIIs og and retros all the time, but now just use them casually.
