Hi Kat. B., thank you for your kind words. I definitely need to go to Greece. Thanks for the recommendation, I googled it and both look amazing!
My maternal grandfather's family came from Ljubljana. My mother still makes Potica, Keefles and a few others that (I believe) have origins in your native area of Europe. We are enjoying your videos very much. I am gaining weight just watching. LOL
Ljubljana is in Slovenia not Slovakia. Bratislava is the capital of Slovakia.
3:21 KARAMELOVY VETERNIK looks like Paris Brest. Bratislava is really beautiful by the way.
Looks great, but no palacinky?

Hi, Kremes looks like Tiramitsu.
Haha. It looks like that a little bit but it really is more like a Mille-feuille.
Kremes is more like French vanilla slice :)
i want to come slovakia , anyone can give me invitation latter?
good video, but kremes and veternik have origins at Hungary, btw... a mal by si trosku zapracovat na prizvuku, no zeby sa to lepsie pocuvalo a nerezalo to usi ;)
That’s not surprising seeing that Slovakia was part of the Austro - Hungarian Empire. Only normal to have influence from one another.
Buchty and sulance are not deserts in Slovakia.
