@@Ronin.97 same, I love ICBM but it's become a bit stale, even with mods. Sea Power looks just like Janes Fleet Command (but much more beautiful) and I loved that game, I can't wait to see some of the mods that get made for it.
@@Ronin.97 i may try out that new icbm look alots better then the first one and sea power is going to be awesome asume they can iron out some of the major bugs before ea release in november and frostpunk as well i need to get my hands on
I began watching you only bcs of the icbm series and as i watched you my taste for strategy games developed. Thank you for making content about the second game
The inclusion of Campaign and Conquest mode is really interesting and a welcome edition, as it gives more to the game than before when I’d reinstall every six or eight months to play a run on the Ace Combat map. I’m glad they didn’t bloat it with forcing new things into the formula, and the direction they took the sequel hasn’t altered the DNA of main game too drastically. The incorporation of mod content into the main game is pretty damn sweet. I’m supposing the mods for ground combat were an inspiration for the new army mechanics. Either way, excited to get this sneak peak and gonna play when it drops!
Just for future reference, you meant to use "addition", as they were adding something to the game. The meaning of edition goes along the lines of "version", like, as a wild example, dnd rule book 5.5 edition. Alternatively it can also be used in the form of editorial work, like cutting out parts of a video or correcting spelling errors in a book. Hope this helps and have a nice day.
5:00 I thought I recognized that nuclear explosion, that was used as album art for Wildlife’s album Strike Hard Young Diamond! Excellent Canadian band 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
I do really like that they integrated mods into this version cause the group I play with uses Chronic's Nuclear Attrocities and a lot of the stuff in here is used there
Just watched all your previous ICBM videos from years back about a couple months ago, cool to see this suddenly pop up. It's already looking to be a much more complex and fun game than the first, I'm looking forward to it.
Really excited for this! Played some of the mod content but this looks like it’s way better, it also feels like this is right in your niche stealth, glad a game came out that feels great for your style!
ICBM...TWO?? I loved watching you do the original and even bought it myself, but really only expected it to be that as, to be honest, it was a bit bare-bones. Totally fun and I'm glad I bought it and played it, but just thought it was a one-off. So, yeah, ICBM2--wow! I'm stoked!
"You can never go wrong with nuclear submarines" - unless you're the one having to go to sea on the bloody things for 70 days at a time (spoken as someone who spent 20 years sailing on them back during the Cold War).
Many of the new features (i.e. armies, more advanced tech and more nations) in this remind me of the Omnicide and 10 player map mods from the original game.
Loved the first ICBM and played it a bunch, But this looks like just a reskin with a few mods implemented... There's what, Like 4 or 5 new features? Kind of disappointing but ill still play for sure
Yeaaaaaaaaaah idk man, do i really wanna pay like 20 bucks for the old game with a mod integrated? This is really just a somewhat polished Omnicide mod.
What with this and Sea Power, November is going to be a busy month.
Right? This came out of nowhere for me. I knew it was being worked on but then "boom, November". Eh. OK
november is going to be a find month for gaming
Both of these games are exactly what I've been looking for for awhile

Interesting, i already spotted a couple of mod items from the first game, so the second game has integrated many of the popular mods into it.
a sign of a good \developer

Ye it looks like all the hot mods are vanilla.
Maybe new mods will be different planets 👀

looking foward to this very much

Haven’t even watched the vid yet but I liked it already, love ICBM. Very interested for this new series

The UI of the first game does look about 100x better though IMO I don't like the research and production menu look
Been waiting for this game! Great video stealth 👍
"Common gameplay video but only good games" channels are actually art in my opinion
Huh...the tech tree picks up where the HOI4 tech tree leaves off. Nifty.
lol, just conquer enough to match one of the staring zones… or maybe a conversion mod will come out 😂

This is ICBM
Interesting to see the second game being more construction heavy, to say the least. The first one was pretty much strategic chess
Good to see you playing ICBM again!
Love this, love icbm, thank you for your content stealth
Glad you enjoy it!
now THAT I didn't see coming. I expected this to be delayed to 2025 at this point
why are all the big wargames coming out in november....

I loved the first ICBM. Hopefully this will be a good sequel!
I find the very concept of a campaign in a global thermonuclear war setting amusing.
Im really excited for this game
Cool video. They've done a lot with this version of ICBM, very interesting
So now there's 3 games coming out in the same month as my birthday, hell yeah

This looks like they merged all overhaul mods from 1, but AI got brain damage tryin to use all new stuff.
I hope new AI can change tactics mid-match 🥺
This looks VERY fun! Thanks for sharing :)
Shaping up to be a very nice game. Thanks for showing us.
'You can never go wrong with a nuclear submarine.' I think the Soviets would disagree (at least not publicly).
Slitherine does publish an interesting variety of games.
Greetings from their official Discord server. :D
Looks awesome, looking forward to more content
I think this is gonna be a fun one to watch!
You've got my vote on a little series
I always felt ICBM had the bones of potentially a much deeper, more interesting game. We don't really have any good modern era 4x games.
I just saw this the other day and was very excited to see it
I forgot my mandatory wargames quote noooooo
it have even more content than modded game and most importantly - evenly balanced
are they didn't even announced that? totally unexpected
What are you talking about??? Adam class... what happens at 29:09

I wonder if the tacitcal bombers can be upgraded to standoff CAS like ATGMs vs armies / the Startigic bombers to use glidebombs vs airbases and such

Magenta alliance is stronk.
HI, I was wondering is the game limited to clumped together countries. Or can you play as individual countries as well?
Sort of. You can edit the regions on the map before a match starts. Heavily restrict it and maybe you can play a single nation
