Juna, just one tip.. if you have a solid background, you can just modify the tolerance on the magic wand tool to 100 and you get rid of the halo with just one step, works great for my designs
Hey is there any way I can contact you or send you the image that I’m working on? I don’t seem to be able to remove the background completely I have used different tools : (
What about the color format? Is that image already in cmyk? As you generated it from AI .....what do you do with the color format, plz guide, I'm new into pod trying to learn things
Hi Juna. If your Ideogram design has small flaws: Like missing/extra fingers on a hand. How would you go about solving this? I have a pic of a witch and her hand is a bit garbled. Does it matter that much? Thanks!
Great tutorial. I have found that if the image has a transparent background and the halo is present. I use Photoshop 2024 and I just use a very thin outer stroke or inner stroke depending on where the halo is present inside or outside. I have not used Photopea but it looks very similar to Photoshop.
@@DetourShirts Thanks Juna! I found it! But is taking me so much time, is there another way or a tool that can clean up all the white halo in one click; 🙂
Hi again☺️ i have small issue with importing graphic files to Affinity designer. I vectorized those and they were ofcourse svg files but couldnt open those? There is must be some small thing i dont know? How do you prepare file to import to Affinity.
@DetourShirts thanks for the quickreply. I did, but it says smart object must be rasterized first. I just imported my AI generated image into photopea to try your method and haven't made any changes yet. I don't know why it says smart image must be rasterizied first.
You say you going to put this on a Black T-Shirt. could you clear up two Issues I have. 1. I see there is black in the image. and 2. There are lots blend colours that can be seen when you zoom in. How do these print on to the T-Shirt. I am having this issue on AI generated images. Can you use this. Printful warns that Black will come out Grey on Black Shirts. Your comments will be appreciated. Thanks for the tutorial. Most helpful Much easier then the way I was doing it

Life saver. Been looking for a different way to remove the halo. Just starting out with transparent background PNGs.
Glad I could help
Thank you for the Photopea tutorials.
My pleasure!
Thank you Juna, very helpful , much appreciated
Glad I could help
Thank you. Been waiting for this tutorial!!
Happy to help!
The pen tool, so underrated. You'll get a clean cut, plus have a selection for editing. With graphics like this, use the pen tool.
Yes... that's another way I do it
Can you show that way or direct me to that video
Thank you, Juna! Do you prefer Photopea over Affinity Photo for this?
No but Photopea is free so I thought I would show it
This is great. Thanks for sharing!
You are very welcome
What about the color format? Is that image already in cmyk? As you generated it from AI .....what do you do with the color format, plz guide, I'm new into pod trying to learn things
True... It is not in CYMK so be careful about the colors. You could do one extra step and change it to CMYK in Photopea or Affinity Photo.

I would redo to it or try to draw over it.

Thank you for this amazing video.
Glad you like it
Nice👍I dint know about the contract. Thanks for sharing🙏
Do you mean contrast? Yeah... I would eventually add a white outline on it.
@@DetourShirts contract (shrink) the selection. im using GIMP, maybe different wording.
please post a link to the page where you select 6x, I cant find it in the app. thank you so much, this is super helpful.
Go here and drop the AI Art... you will see the options when you click the dropdown
@@DetourShirts where is " here"? thank you.
Thank you, needed this 👏🏽

How do you think DGB LOL compares to Kittl for upscaling?
I haven't tested them together but I think they are both great. It's just hard to know how upscaled the Kittl one is. Kittl is super fast though.
Thanks for the video. Appreciate you
My pleasure!
I'd love to see a video on distressing in photopea. Thank you.
Nice... I'll add that to the list
Do you smart object then rasterize or rasterize then smart object
I believe it's smart object than rasterize
Juna, how do i click delete using the magic wand; It is the first time i am using photopea :)
Click on the magic wand. Then click on the color you want to delete. Then click your delete button or backspace button on your keyboard
@@DetourShirts Thanks Juna! I found it! But is taking me so much time, is there another way or a tool that can clean up all the white halo in one click; 🙂
I use Gimp and do pretty much the same thing except that selected large blocks of the background with the rectangle select tool.
Yeah... That's a good time saver to select large blocks ... thanks for sharing
What would happen if you added in your promp "A solid colored background"? Thanks for all the amazing tutorials 👍🏼💯
That might of helped

@@DetourShirts ok but my svg files didnt open,i wonder what i do wrong
@@DetourShirts yes now i got it right. I was using first that import thing so that was the issue.
hi. at 1:50 when you say "hit delete" where is the delete option? Or how do you delete those parts? Thanks
The backspace/delete button on your keyboard

Me thinking I was doing it wrong. Thanks Juna!

Hey, by any chance do you require a thumbnail artist ?
Nope.. not right now... sorry
Hey juna, could you please share your story about your first design and your first sale😁
That's a great idea for a video
Hi Juna, great video ! Could you do the same tutorial, but on Photoshop please. Thanks :))
Sure thing!
@@DetourShirts 👍👍👍
great video Juna! could you do a video about how to vectorize the design please

Well all the colors come out a little more muted when printed on a shirt. I would guess that is why they say gray. This should print out okay.
Thank you
You are welcome
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are very welcome
Can u do this in canva
Not really... they have a remove background feature but it's hit and miss
How to do this in Affinity Photo?
Kind of the same way. I could do another video
@@DetourShirts yes please Juna as we do love learning and Affinity photo/designer is the one we have. Though in Photopea was very helpful ❤
But it's only allowing me to do it for once, saying next try after 4 hours, why so?
On ChatGPT or Photopea?
@@DetourShirts photopea
Because it's free...?🤔
@@DetourShirts photopea
@@helengren9349 Yup😂
Why don't you just export it as SVG?
I use PNGs for Print on Demand
