  • The parables of the wineskins and garments by our Messiah are often interpreted to be best understood as out with the old, and in with the new, even replacement theology. We have a different perspective.

He's being bullied rigth now, physically, mentally, economically, digitally, socially, you name it. athanatos,.....What has been taught here is all false teaching, and a wrong interpretation. This scripture is teaching that the old covenant (old wine) has passed away and you cannot put the new covenant Jesus is preaching/establishing into the old covenant (old wineskins).
The law and commandment keeping as well as the sabbath have been fulfilled and anyone trying to still keep these old testament laws and sabbath is it total violation of Gods word and outside of Gods kingdom. They have poured the new wine (new covenant) into old wineskins (the old covenant) and destroyed the whole thing. They will are receive the punishment for working on the sabbath instead of resting on it like all those that belong to Jesus do.

Sorry, Yeshua did not do away with the torah. The Pharisees had a tendency to perform rituals that were man made and not scriptural.

When Jesus says the old is better, he's referring to the Jews refusing to accept Christ and the new covenant (new wine). The sacrifice of Christ was rejected by the Jews, and grace came to the Gentiles. My question is....if God loved Israel so much, why would he set them up for a fall? Israel was severely punished twice for not following the laws of God. They had thousands of years with the law, the customs and traditions, Moses was the man! Why would God set up Israel to reject the new covenant?

Why would Yeshua tell people used to putting new wine in new skins a parable that's meaning would be to put old wine in new skins.
It seems this teaching and explanation are incorrect. New wine is the gospel of Yeshua that the Pharisees did not desire because their laws (old wine) was good enough for them (luke 5:39).

According to your view, the disciples did not need to fast because they were actually doing the work of mercy. But how does this make sense when Yeshua declares that after the bridegroom leaves, then the disciples would fast. Does this mean that the disciples would stop doing the work of mercy and instead fast after the bridegroom left?

New wine is pure doctrine. It is not mixed like a new patch on an old garment, and it is not desired, nor more highly valued because it is aged;) The only thing that can accept it is a new wineskin, and that is why Yeshua went to the sinner. They were the new wineskins, who were able to accept the new wine/pure doctrine. There was no traditions necessary for pure faith with a sinner who had no faith. They could accept his teachings such as "eat my flesh and drink my blood" and not burst and be ruined. At that time, Yeshua was speaking against the traditions of the pharisee's and not the law He came to fulfill. Today, He is speaking against all religious traditions including christianity, judaism, torah folks, etc. The law is the truth, and it is pure, and it still requires a new wineskin/vessel, so that it will not burst and be destroyed. That is why Christ still seeks sinners, and not the righteous. If you are a part of any organized religion, or following an online religion like 119, then you are old as hell, and you will be destroyed as the old wineskin that you are. No one in religion will make the Kingdom at all;) I promise you that

@@chadcampbell7576 Our neighbors are not just those around us who are doing what WE believe is the will of the father. Our neighbors are actually all people whom we come into contact with. God doesn't differentiate how we treat non believers when it comes to love and charity. He loves them as much as he loves those who already are following him. There was no reason for your comment and it certainly wasn't constructive. 119 Ministries does not produce garbage. They are in this walk just as we are.
