Four Album Leaf No.1: Allegretto Grazioso, Op.25/1

This is the first piece of my set of album leaf, which will be four short, simple and pleasant piano pieces for amateur pianists. Unlike most of my other pieces (which aim to be played in a concert setting by professionals), my four album leaf could be played in a more private and intimate setting among families and friends, whether at a salon or a home.
The first piece is in the tempo marking of “Allegretto grazioso”, hence its uncreative title. Overall, I have tried to create smooth textures and paint colourful pictures using this piece. While the piece is short and lacks technical complexity, I have tried to include many colourful modulations from one instant key to another under the constraint of the short piece length. Therefore, hopefully, you will find my piece musically satisfying.
