$2,300-$2,500 for a precious metal time piece, sounds like a fantastic deal. I just hope the build quality is on par with the price point.

I'll take a 18k gold watch over a "luxury" brand name made of steel. Especially at the similar price.

I will be looking for a real solid gold entry level luxury watch in 5 years if still kicking- by that point will be nearly 10 years sober. great for some old middle-aged fat dude celebrating some arbitrary milestone. this watch and video are both incredibly underappreciated.

Great review. As a newbie to the hobby it’s nice to know there are precious metal watches that won’t break the bank. For me there’s a real aura about it and I think Tissot checks all the boxes with their gold line. Much too big for my taste but this piece looks great.

Mine has problem with back case. It open up every time falling down to the floor by accident. I have to send to dealer to close it. Normally it take 2 week - 2 months to return back. Then after 2 years of daily use, it start to slow down 5 - 10 min a day. I paid around 450$. Then it happen again but this time it is free of charge since it was only 2 - 3 months after service. And guess what, it return and run slow and send to service center back and froth few more times. Each time it took 1 - 2 months. Finally one day it stopped working. This time dealer told me they need to send to Swiss land. Everything is cover free of charge. I am very happy with that thanks to the dealer but after around 8 - 10 months of waiting I got it back. This time it is 5 minutes fast every day. I can send to dealer again free of charge I think. But I have given up. I keep it in the box. This watch case back is not easy to open or close according to dealer. As you can notice there is no slot to insert any tool to open. I think maybe need to open by some kind of vacuum. LOL

Cartier sells for the same price a quartz stainless steel watch with a synthetic cabochon... Paying just for the brand in that case. Take away the branding, and you end up with a 50 dollar rectangular stainless steel quartz watch...
