Very timely video. Just yesterday I pondered why someone would want a gold watch that looks like it's made from a cheaper metal (silver or steel).

Both types of gold would make me a very happy collector. Vacheron 1072 movement in a gold case from the 1960s is a real beauty, but very rare.
Platinum or white gold = stealth….only or those who know, will ‘know’…

The yellow gold one is perfect. I don’t understand why people bother with white gold.
For me it depends on the case design and dial color if I prefer yellow or white :-)

The world of gold has a cultural side. In U.S.A. people prefer gold 14, in Brazil, where i am now, people prefer gold 18 and in the islamic countries people like gold 24.
