I had the 3rd gear pop out. I used redline mt-90 and it shifts like butter believe me. I’m at 111k miles. Best thing out there for the trans.

I agree with all those I have an 06 type s...one thing I would add to that is the power steering o ring wears out and leaks...easy fix just very typical for rsx
Dope vid man. I got an Xiniyi solar windshield. It's coated with heat-reflected film which blocks radiation. It blocks 60% of heat radiation to keep your car cool in the summer, and 99% UV radiation to protect your interior. Great $200 investment!

02 RSX all of this is very true. 3rd gear grind. Coilovers will dramatically camber back end. Just saw in the comments, power steering o ring leaks over time. Good luck folks ;)

/-\camber and it will need to get adjusted.
i have to be real lucky then, i have an 03 with 220k,xxx with no tears, it has the interior hatch cover too

Note for the transmission when they did the face lift for 05-06 they fixed the transmission issue. Might want to cop a 05-06 trans (might as well toss an LSD in) when yours goes.

I swapped out my 02 stock trans for a 02 type r trans and never had a problem.

There was an Arm Rest opinion, it was an attachment to the center console. They’re pretty rare and hard to find, I’ve only ever seen one for sale.

Those armrest came out around 2003 if i remember correctly. A guy made them and sold them on clubrsx, It was about $60 back then. Never felt i needed one as i always drive with 2 hands on the wheel lol.
Selling my s2000 and might buy a 06 Type S . My first car was an 05 type s and forever has a spot for me.
For my opinion I think you should keep the s2000 it be kind of a downgrade if you get the rsx but they both are good cars either way

I dislike the water leaks 🤣🤣 but easy fix, also the sunroof rusting under the rubber!

Stop leaving your sunroof open in the rain. I have no rust at all around my sunroof or inside my sunroof. I have a 2006 RSX.
I lowered my RSX and when I took it to the alignment shop they said they couldn't get it past -2.4 degrees of camber. I wanted like around -1, but again, they said they couldn't go any more positive. My coilovers have a camber plate and everything on it so I'm kinda screwed

Javi Vibes you forgot to mention about the water getting in the trunk, not that it happens to everyone but a lot off RSX’s have that problem.

I plan on owning an RSX in the future... I’m not trying to throw any shade or anything, but why do so many RSX’s keep the stock rims on? Am I missing anything?
Tj Semeniuk Understood. My plan is to keep it stock except for PF01’s and an A Spec lip kit. Oh, and a Borla Cat Back. Pretty simple in my opinion 🤷♂️

The only thing i did not liked about my rsx was the sunroof. Anything else i can swap out, a hard top is a bit hard to swap out lol.
