Finally a true original red devil and not some mixed Medevil that people think is red devil. I can tell by the pointed nose that this is a true original red devil.
If your tank is big enough they could probably live together. But I've heard stories where red devils tear up Oscars nearly to death. If I had my 125 gal, I'd try it. But in a small tank, I wouldn't try it. Not sure what a comet is?
A_N TV commet goldfish, feeder fish. Them and Rosie red minnows and cichlids pellets is what I feed. Just one Oscar actually in a 55 gallon by itself. I want to add something that won’t get ate.
@@pabloescobar34 yea they eat feeders. I'm just afraid of getting hole in the head or ich from feeders. 55 is to small in the long run, you got aggressive behavior, than you also got bio load. You would have to be doing your water changes at least once a week. I do 2 water changes a week. Small ones. I would try a jack Dempsey, or a green terror. In my old 55, I did a jack Dempsey and oscar. My jd keep beating up and biting my oscar. Experiment and watch what works. If a fish got to violent I would donate it. I've done that plenty of times. Cost a lot of money
I got the jack dempsey like you suggested. So far it’s seems to be going good. I got one smaller then the Oscar so the Oscar won’t get beat up but big enough so it doesn’t fit into the oscars mouth. I’ve also made sure the Oscar was well fed before I put in the Dempsey. Thanks for the great advice!
