You tried pretty hard to diss it, but it's pretty impressive for the price especially if you wanted to hang it on a wall by using "The Kragle" to put all the pieces together.
Agree. Looks good.
he is a weird Lego Fanboy, the same kind of person that didnt want things as a kid when it was off brand
@@lp.shakurExactly dude. The guy is making me so pissed. He is such a LEGO sucker
@@tbu_drachenkater5397 nehm mal an da dein Name deutsch ist sprichst dus auch, joa, wir sind andere Kritik gewöhnt 😂
@@lp.shakur I‘m not talking German in this thread, because it’s a English thread and so should you. Also you really shouldn’t be proud to be an LEGO fanboy. That’s such a sorry thing to admit (Edit: oooops, read your comment wrong xD. I thought you admitted to being a LEGO fan. Ignore what I said before: LEGO as a company sucks!)
might be "fake" but it looks exponentially better than what lego ever put out
So many people focus on the looks and completely forget functionality. There is a reason Lego is the leading brand and it’s their designers. Yes sometimes a model might look better but as it was displayed in this video this is impossible to move and a big thing Lego designers focus on now like with the Venator is these small aspects such as functionality so the whole thing doesn’t break apart when you try to move it.
@@Ryguy00707 lego margin is at least 75% so...
@@Ryguy00707yeah bro im not paying 3x or more the price because of some functionality. Especially when that fucntionality it’s just a mid interior like in the venator
That's because it's a stolen moc design
@@Ryguy00707 idc if its functunal. i buy and build lego to display it not to play w it
That's actually such a beautiful design for the ship itself. If LEGO made it as structurally sound as the rest of their sets then it would be incredible. Shame those stands were not only ugly af but also barely functioned as stands lol
I think even lego would struggle to make this structurally sound its probably why they dont make a set like this
if lego made this, it would definitely be at a smaller scale
"OMG THIS IS SO FRAGILE, WE CAN BARELY MOVE IT FROM ONE ROOM TO ANOTHER!!!1111!"
Carries the set downstairs holding together perfectly fine, with the base structure even surviving two heavy drops.
They’re Lego purist chodes clout chasing
I appreciate MOC’s and companies that actually put out products that are affordable in comparison to Lego, and actually look decent.
yes but it comes at a very big cost in term of every single other factor.
@@jeterjk I have a Mould King Tantive IV. I got it for Christmas (at my request), I put it together and it looks great, I've only gotten compliments on it. It's not super stable and it was very difficult trying to put it all together, glue was needed but I can't complain about the end result. It's almost twice as big as the Lego Tantive IV 75244 set and at around half the price. I'm not going to get knockoffs for every set from now on but I wouldn't consider it a bad choice either.
Fr bro
I love how in all of these knockoff videos he acknowledges that the design is stolen from a moc-builder and then he proceeds to shit all over the design lol
Exactly. Is he trying to slag Mould King or a MOC designer, or both?
Back then? yes. but nowadays mouldking for example is working with the Designers. the Designers also Said that They selled way more instructions on rebrickable since mouldking stoled These Sets
Im so excited to find out what happens even though ryan revealed 95% of the clip💀
it broke 🫸😲🫷
I hope this ridiculous display of brand loyalty yields you a plethora of more free stuff from the LEGO Empire.
He gets sets for free
He didn’t get stuff from Lego what
He did for a while, they kicked him out though
Yep, it couldn't possibly be that it's a shoddy product. Must be blind brand loyalty.
Not even mentioning the fact that these knockoff Chinese brands are known for stealing their designs from MOC creators.
How is it fake lego if lego never made this set?
Mould King has such cool builds tho. Like theres the Nebulon, then theres also the Eclipse Star Destroyer, etc etc
You do realize these are stolen designs? After Lego stopped them from copying their designs, they moved on to stealing designs for MOC designers who receive no money from their sales. DO NOT SURPORT THESE THEIVES!
The Mould King Liebher 13000 crane is twice as big and 3 times cheaper than the Lego Liebher crane.
Yeah they have good designs that they steal
Yeah they have good designs that they steal
Yeah they have good designs that they steal
Honestly looks dope af for 200 bucks
If you're into crazy huge MOCs and know about their disadvantages (hard to move, fragile in many parts and NO its not the brick quality!) then they are a great company. They also sell licensed MOC sets so the creators get money too. Also extremely affordable and very good customer service.
@@stephanprommer347 brick quality is absolutely a factor bro. I own a bunch and sometimes the pieces literally do not fit together at all. one of the last KO MOCs I bought required me to cut pieces of the studs off so they would interface properly.
It does. Im assuming the channel is sponsored by lego in some way and they are told to dump on the off brands. To get a model of that size for 200 bucks you have to assume there is going to be some flaws.
Dude was being super critical. Even though the quality was kinda bad, it's meant to be a display piece for something that cheap compared to lego.
Mould King really making the sets that Lego is too scared to make
The offbrand isn’t the issue of fragility. It’s the design of the moc.
These sets are awesome, glue can be used and they’re made for display only.
Great value for money. I’ve bought quite a lot of mould king. Good bricks.
Yep glue was needed sometimes on big mould king Mocs, but like you said it’s mainly a display piece
Too much to understand for the American shill "creators" who are directly on Lego's payroll. I could do the exact same video with many of the Lego UCS sets with the same end result.
I don't want fucking glue to put it together 💀. Sorry no thanks.
@@stephanprommer347I’m planning to get the AT AT UCS set from Marstoy with non Lego bricks. It’s an exact replica and it’s just 300 bucks compared to Lego charging 1050 cad before taxes
By and large, the big English-language Lego RUclips channels are shameful: a bunch of them get their sets free from Lego in exchange for breathless PR shilling. Fwiw, there are some really big European building-brick channels that are more even handed, covering all the other brands fairly and also really laying into Lego when needed because of their heavy-handed business practices, pricing, declining quality control, etc. @@stephanprommer347
I actually have this fully built, and even though it's fake, was not fun to build, and the absolutely horrible stand they have for it, I still really like it.
There is something really charming about the bootleg sets. It’s so alien compared to what Lego actually produces that the bootlegs are actually kind of fun to collect as they all have their quirks and flaws. Plus they are dirt cheap and look great if you’re just using them to display
@@lilbubz2803 yeah, mould king are pretty good at making big display sets, however they come at the cost of a poor building experience because there's so may steps that you end up getting pieces that get in the way of a much later step and it becomes very infuriating, like the nebulon frigate here.
@balkor_steel9094 yeah the building experience sucks. Especially with how many steps they cram into a single page. That said, I don’t mind it too much, seeing as most people only build/disassemble their big display sets maybe once or twice max
@@lilbubz2803 exactly, but what I really hate are the stands, they are so goddamn flimsy and unstable cause it's too heavy, it's scary. I have this fear it's gonna fall over one day for no reason, which is why I'm trying to get a glass case for it, which would have to be big and is probably expensive
😂
Sorry bro but u are wrong. That thing deserves credit.
The lines at 3:27 happen because of led lights. It’s called “banding” and variable shutter in the Sony menu system will help you dial it out if you need to get it to stop. Or get different lights lol
thanks for this lol
idk why so many people hate fake lego, not everyone can afford thousands of dollars worth of plastic
Mould king Nebulon B is actually a really pretty model, sad to see it destroyed 😭
I like a lot of mould king's sets. If you go out and do some searching you can easily find the MOCs theyre based on. I just treat MK as a general bulk parts purchase and use the better independent instructions. Makes it so I only spend 100-200 bucks on a massive set instead of thousands for official lego.
This!
Agree. Great kits and a fraction of the price of the fanboy stuff.
Since I know that other manufacturers sell better quality and also better and larger models for less money, I no longer buy Lego, even after 30 years
With what Lego is charging for star wars sets now I wouldn’t be shocked if these sets started to blow up.
Ryan: “Are Delaying so you can make more money?”
*Camera shakes for a yes*
Ryan: “Ahhh”
😂
Imagine they make ucs bomber first even though the Nebula-B got more votes
Probably not, since we're getting a UCS Interceptor next year it'll probably be at least 5 years (closer to 10) before the next UCS TIE, and with how few OT ships remain to get the UCS treatment we'll likely see the Nebulon sooner rather than later (unless LEGO starts making more prequel or sequel UCS sets, but only time will tell on that).
For the price I don't care if its fake. I'm tired of paying hundreds and hundreds for not even perfect official lego sets.
Agreed
It's not even fake, it's just a different companies brick system, being low quality doesn't make it fake
@@calebbarnhouse496 Yeah, its off brand lego, imitation lego, making it fake. thats what people mean by fake. not that they arent real lego bricks, just that they are not official lego bricks. which they arent.
@@corellioncrusaderproductio4679 the point of calling it fake lego is because it's not the brand they suck off, it's not about accuracy, otherwise you'd call it a knockoff or use lego interchangeably, you know, like people do with many different name brand products like sharpie, kleenex, band aid, or even coke.
Fake or not, I'll keep buying them cause it's fun to build and just as good as lego
I hope you send some money to the MOC designer as well then.
Where's the proof this was stolen from an MOC designer?
@@Montyh7 Why would I do that?
@funasylumstudio The MOC designer posted it, and ig someone at mould bricks managed to remake it and then make a set out of it, I really don't care if it's stolen cause it's not my problem at the end of the day
@Montyh7 If I see a cheap lego that has a hell ton of pieces and it's a set that lego will never make best believe I'm buying it stolen or not
I like how everyone calls them "fake" when they are made from the same molds, with the same plastic, and from the same factory, only without the branding.
No they are not ^^
But bootleg bricks definetly match lego in quality nowadays, might even improve in some aspects
There are also legit building-brick companies out ther with their own designs and licensing that are actually better than Lego at this point. Cobi's printing and quality control are exceptional, whereas Lego's has been on a downard trajectory.@@zejulius58
It isn't fake lego, there is no licenses in the bricks anymore, but yes they are stealing designs. Some MouldKing sets have changed and are in cooperation with the designers. But that is not fake lego.
Fake lego is used to refer to sets and pieces specifically not made by the company Lego (because yes the word Lego is the name of the company not the bricks itself) so this in fact fake lego since it is not made with authentic Lego bricks and not branded by the Lego company.
You can't call it fake Lego.
Exactly. This is not a counterfeit Lego set. The box, manual, and bricks are not designed to fool people into thinking it's an actual Lego product, and Lego has not released a set like this. This presenter should be much more careful and fair with his wording.
Honestly, it would be sick to reconstruct this with official parts. Also, it’s awesome to see another video with sands.
It was a moc, I’m sure you can get the instuctions just like mk bricks did, if you’re willing to pay.
I meant to take the instructions the set comes with, and use official LEGO parts instead of the ones that come in the set.
6388 pz Bro
MK uses gobricks which are actually higher quality and grip tighter than lego bricks
@@XAuroraM source?
You gotta do the Venator knock off it actually looks good imo
It’s really nice, they updated the version a while back and fixed the gap issue mostly
Well, I think since this is not lego, the perfect solution would be to just glue it completely up. That would be good if someone really wanted it (and not be worried to hear big crush at night), as fake or not its looks cool, and I doubt person that would buy it as display piece would ever want to take it apart, glue is friend of fake lego. (That also gives me idea, if you ever buy another fake UCS, glue it up while building, and we will see how glued up big ship will crush, or how hard it is to be crushed).
He is on Legos payroll and his opinion is therefore pretty much worthless. I have built a lot of Mould King sets over the years and they are using GoBricks Bricks. They are superior or at least equal in quality to Lego in all aspects. The model he showed here is a pure display piece and not intended to be moved a lot. You would have the exact same result with Lego Bricks.
@@stephanprommer347I have Mould King Lamborghini and Razor Crest, these things are heavy and strong, also quality is amazing, sometimes better than lego (not for kids tho, its harder to even remove some parts, thats how tight they fit).
I wonder if Lego would make a UCS invisible Hand towards the fall to go with the UCS Venator.
I have the smaller version of this by mould king. It's actually not bad. It is movable and holds together just fine.
Mould King uses GoBricks Bricks which are arguably superior or equal in quality to Lego. Luckily the German Brick community has a lot more balanced views on these products. Its obvious that he is on Legos payroll and he needs to throw shade at MK.
@@stephanprommer347 Well not sure why MandR would support fake lego as he makes videos about real lego.
@@commandercody5066 "Fake" implies some sort of realness or ownership. That only applies to Minifigures for Lego. Plastic Bricks are not "Lego" you do know and understand that right? Lego itself has stolen their original designs funnily enough. Alternative brick brands would be the correct terminology.
Lego in the 80s bought out the original brand that was making bricks. they made there own design of the brick, and copyrighted the design.
now flego brick company's often steal Legos sets designs.

Nothing to be ashamed about, a lot of us do too
It's great to see how much higher the quality of your videos have been getting as of recently, can't place my finger on what you've done exactly to make them so much better but overall theyre definitely great and fun watches, good job and keep it up
Thank you very much!!
I bought the plans legitimately from Mortesv along time ago and it was definitely a challenge to build. It was a significant challenge to source all the bricks as well and took over a year. There's some serious bending of bricks in the superstructure to make fitting work. It's also incredibly fragile, as you demonstrated. If you just look at it in a funny way a piece will fall off. I ended up gluing chunks together to make it more durable - which I'm loath to do with genuine Lego - but I intended to keep this model as a display piece, so it was worth doing. I still have it on a nice wooden base with an acrylic cover because dusting it would be catastrophic!
just the snap reaction of responding with "It's a ship it flies." just had me DYING for a solid couple minutes XD
This was such a chaotic review…😂
More of a vlog than a review.
I love it!!
complain how much you want, it still only costs one third of lego price...
Damn that's so sad you destroyed it, even if it is knock off lego that ship looked amazing.
Looks amazing, not to be played and actually seemed to be fairly simple to move considering it's size and design. I don't get what you're complaining about.
He is on Legos payroll so obviously he is trying to put this set into a bad spot. The model is fantastic and brick quality and price point are great. The fragility is something most of these crazy display models share.
@@stephanprommer347 Yet we see the other dude swinging it around without much of a problem.
@@comebackguy8892 Absolutely true, yes. The model is just fine and stable enough for a display piece. I assume its just ragebait. Worked on me though sadly.
@@stephanprommer347the set sucks, pieces come cracked and shattered, if you put cones, cylinders or studs on any kind of rod they have to be removed with pliers. the instructions fit 30 steps into one and don't highlight them well. plates have to be assembled with a hammer when being put with one another. i don't know how you think this man is on legos payroll considering he gives them more shit than mould king. are you you the US rep for mould king? lmao
All I’m seeing is structural issues that even Lego has. You’re hating and bashing on a very well detailed kit for a price the average person can afford when looking at bigger Lego sets. Like you said if Lego released it it’d be like $700. You’re paying for slightly better brick quality and the Lego name
Mould King is pretty legit. Yes maybe their sets may miss a few pieces, and yes the bricks are less rigid. But for how cheap it is, the attention to detail, it’s an absolute robbery. It’s not like you’re gonna snap a piece in half and can’t find a substitute for a piece.
IDK what you mean by FAKE LEGO. LEGO does not own any copyright to the bricks it is just the bigesst Company of them all, but defenetly not the best. Also LEGO stole the Idea of building bricks from somwere esle to begin with.
but some brands try to pass off as lego like having a very similar logo color and design
And other types of companies who sell models.

I don't get al the negativity towards this set, like you never illegaly downloaded a song.
So you won't have any issues if anyone steals from you?
@@simonhughes4993 Isn't that the same as Lego ideas? These chinese companies pays designers like Thijs de boer a fortune in royalties. Anyway if you post it, it becomes public property. They want to make money go to business school and learn how to protect your IP.
@@mornecoetzee735 NO they don't pay the designers and that's the point. Track down who the real designers are they will tell you the designs have been stollen. Lego Ideas are designs submitted to Lego by the designer and they do receive acknowledgement for their work.

This is probably one of the funniest videos you've ever made! Definitely love watching these. Keep up the great work!
The way I see it, if Lego doesn't want to offer what the market wants, then it is perfectly acceptable to buy sets from Chinese based Mould King. If Lego was still offering their 2019 Star Destroyer, I'd gladly buy that one over the Mould King. Problem is, Lego's offerings at any given time are highly limited because they refuse to maintain a long term stock on really anything, even sets that would absolutely continue to make money like the Star Destroyer.
This MOC is actually one I made instructions for way back in 2016 as my second instruction manual. Shoutout to Mortesv for the incredible design. There are admittedly some things that could have been done better, but for the time of 2015/16 this was insane. So funny still seeing these fakes out there when the model has since been remastered
Yeah, just found it on brick-collective, if i ever buy this MK set, i will also buy the original remastered instructions (like for all my other sets).
Honestly why does it matter if all you do is display sets 🧐
Looks Better than Lego and from the Inside there is no Rainbow and it doesent cost like 600$ also its a Display Model not A play model
this is actually a really fun video i laughed my ass off to, like this was the kind of shit that would be recorded at a sleepover
this video genuinely made me laugh, keep up the great work!
Honestly ryan has such a strong bias against anything not actual Lego, the reason that some of these builds is because Lego doesn’t have these models. The eclipse class star destroyer is by far better than any Lego star destroyer (excluding the usc) and yes the build quality sucks but these are display models some of the more expensive builds have interior for display purposes.
You should do the eclipse super star destroyer next. It doesn’t really have any relevance besides being a super star destroyer like the one released this year and it being the 40th anniversary of the return of the Jedi
hi
I have that one, it’s really nice. The black is really sleek, just a bit sore on the hands to build 😂
I loved how they were arguing, best part of the video 😂
I don’t think I’ve ever laughed harder at an Mandr video 😂
It‘s not „fake LEGO“, but made of GOBRICKS which has a similar or sometimes even better quality than LEGO bricks do. So it’s basically a nice MOC with good bricks + 1/3 price
-> it is legos fault to be 10-times above the production cost and than even giving us regularly bad Star Wars sets (there are some very nice ones but overall compared to what it could be)
You say in all your reviews of MOC builds that they are generally fragile, but you say thats ok because its a display piece. But yet in this instance it is all the fault of the 3rd party bricks. This set would be no more stable if built from genuine Lego bricks, it is the design of the model that makes it fragile. I find 3rd party bricks these days are just as good as Lego 99% of the time. You get a few bad quality pieces but I get that with genuine Lego too these days. Difference is Lego charge you 4 times the price for their poor quality bricks.
I've built a few off-brand ones, all are better quality than Lego's fragile brown or red pieces, so that argument is as fragile as this set
When he hit the thing and the millennium falcon fell it went straight to an ad I can’t stop laughing
3:51: Hearing Ryan swear just makes me laugh! 😂
I get the dramatic acting with pieces coming off but the truth is Mould King stays together better than Lego and that's been a complaint of people cause it's hard to get them off if u make a mistake. Even if a few weren't secure it's not complicated to use a little super glue. This is a display piece and meant to stay together permanently. Love the final look and def will be adding this to my collection and can always modify it with pieces from pick a brick. The price is just too good not too.
Why is it called fake? There are a lot of real vendors and Sellers that manufacture their own Bricks and have even own licences. Xingbao, Cobi and MouldKing as an Example, can sell a knockoff Lego Set, but the differenc is the quality of these other companies. Lego quality dropped significantly for the fact that they make billions in revenue. The other companies just are not as money hungry as lego is and therefore are definetly a better buy. Lego is letting down their fans just to fill their own pocket (If they would drop every set price by 30% they would be reasobnable priced) and the biggest problem is that the fans dont even care beeing fucked over the counter. You can look over the imperfections of these "Fake Sets" if you pay 400+ dollars less for the sets because its not "real lego". The only fact how Lego can still be in everyones mouth is the fact, that they sell the best licenses (Star Wars, Marvel, Harry Potter, Disney). Of course the other companies cant keep up with that portfolio. Lego is actually getting worse every month with their marketing, pricing and mostly the so called "quality".
true, searched for this comment
Lego nicked people their money, i mean plastic is plastic and there is no such thing as inflation, otherwise mouldking would suffer too
I love how you literally show the audience the worst 2 mould king sets. Almost feels like this isn't a coincidence...weird
Just imagine comparing mould kings Monarch to Lego's UCS Star Destroyer...oh wait that would hurt the diehard lego only fanboys wouldn't it😭
😮
Agreed. I have built two large scale Mould King models (Monarch and Eclipse) without any trouble.
The Monarch has 3x as many pieces as legos 700€ version, yet it barely costs you half of that.
The take on the quality of GoBricks is just wrong. 99% of their pieces are of equal quality to original lego and everyone who built both knows/should know this. I feel like he's almost trying to make the people think Knockoff brands are trash in general by selecting their worst products knowing there are better ones out there
I think the point is more so that they steal designs from really hard-working MOC makers and that’s kinda morally wrong….not “haha fake lego bad”
@@adamcarman5330Fair point. While that totally sucks of course I'd still rather get 3x the value for half the price (even when paying the original creator by purchasing their instructions, which one should always do).
Maybe it's just me but I'm getting the image Lego creators don't want people to fancy knockoff brands in general and since most people don't know anything about Mould King, they will believe what they say and never try them out. In the end everyone should know they exist based on a fair comparison (not deliberately selecting their worst products) and decide for themselves
You have to be delusional to think thats not worth 250$ tho. It looks like the real deal and is fricken massive. that would be a 700$ lego set and it would rainbow colored from the inside.

The fact that like 6 minutes of the video is them moving the set is so funny!😊 Also that model looks insane! MandRProductions I can understand your hate for some fake Lego but this… this is pretty cool!😮 BTW keep up the great work!❤

I would love to see Lego do a UCS set of this. I would hope it would be much better!
The hiding money in the interior of sets gag returns triumphantly.
To be fair, Some points need to be brought out here:
1, there is no way Mark gave his model instruction to Moulding to make the star war model. Therefore, the model could be their own interpretation based on what they saw in star war movies, posters or from other similar models inclusive those from Lego model? Many people do that too, thus should not be classified as a knock off from Mark's model?
2: As mentioned earlier, Lego has not make a model of this size, for this particular star war model yet, thus Mould King could not have 'copied' from Lego. Therefore, should not be classified as a knockoff from Lego?
3: Those Moulding plastic bricks are easily distinguishable from those of Lego. Because all lego bricks have 'lego' printed on them.
The only questionable issue that I could see from this is the licencing of the Star War theme? Again, I maybe ignorant about the statue of time limitation on the copy right law?
I don't know if it's true of this channel, but a good number of Lego-related RUclips channels get free sets from Lego, receive invitations to Lego headquarters for press events, etc., so they have a vested interest in cheerleading for Lego and putting down all the other manufacturers. Lego is definitely not the only game in town, and with their quality control declining and prices always rising, the competition is looking better and better.
Rumor has it that he's still cleaning up to this very day. Great vid👍🏼.
Well, at least the instructions manual looks better than the garbage LEGO is going these days...

My Favorite Plastic Brick Company... Mould King
It's not "fake" lego, it's just another brand that makes Building blocks. And for my part I have several Mould King sets and also Cobi and Cada. Most of their sets have alot better quality parts than lego has, and that for half the price. Lego just got greedy for the last few years and their quality and design got very bad.

It's not FAKE Lego, they don't have the patent for the bricks anymore.
Wow this set it really cool, it almost looks like lego. It's Structure is built so well and definitely does not fall apart. 5* for me. lol.
Patrick would be proud of your ambulance "wee woo"
This was way more entertainingthen I was expecting lol great content
Too large sets, especially massive mocs like this can break apart very easily, so this is the reason of why Lego reinforce the internal scructures of large sets with technic parts.
ASK MANDR do you know any places to buy cheap lord of the rings and hobbit sets also should i buy the hoth at-st first or the snow trooper battle pack since their both retiring this year

Fun fact. Lego did make clear base plates in the past and they are now extremely rare and expensive.
