"its all in these holes", Genius!!!
the toturial on the wall run in the end is the shortest + most effactive ive seen
the vidoe is very intrestring thank u!
Great video! Must show this to parents and gym teacher!
Very nice moves and editing.
@TemeculaParkour FTW!
Haha, that was pretty cool! Glad you did well on the project.
man u make physics look fun =)
love it :D new sub for you! :D
The end of the fall is really a transfer of power from the downward motion to a lateral forward motion most ppl break their leg with the stopping of motion a backwash of kinetic energy causes the bone to snap as the returning force is in harmony with the resonant force. They find the weakest part and have a party someppl it's the knees others the shin bone. Like they say it isn't the height or speed but that stop at the end!
Nice!!!
@MrSheeplord This is beacuse when you are at the top of my roof, you have the PE of 2146J, which would give you the KE the moment you impact, which is equal to your PE of 2146J
PE at rest (starting point) = KE on moment of impact. (final point)
did that help? -Jimmy D
hey its FREEEEEEEEEEEEED!!!!!!
@nickleus1977 the shoes are by K-Swiss, the Ariakes,
@reppingAiEa haha thats exactly what cob said after we filmed that part =]
@surfkid255 -- lol thanks for that =] what did you think?
@OneMoreNick did you know thats a break dancing move? if you land with your feet and for arms on the ground first you really dont feel a thing.
@sakuyarules at that short of a fall, air resistance is not a major enough factor for him to calculate into this video, if he were doing a video on falling out of an airplane, that would be more reasonable, but with the resistance you would come to about 2145.83J
ya sur ei totaly understodd that lol
@killarney12 Sweet!! it starts some time after club rush! (youl find out what that is soon enouf)
in the mean time look into DC Gymnastics, open gym on wednesday nights for 5 bucks, the team work out there all the time =]
what are the shoes called?
@codygman91 lol i know anytime that happens its Jacob filming (he is in the Parkour Temecula video) it looks kinda funny =P
Sorry to bother, but I need to clear some things up for my physics project.. In this video you mentioned that the PE = 2146J at 01:24 but when you've jumped off the roof you say that the Kinetic Energy wich you named "PE" aswell was 2146J. This makes no sense to me... Anyone help please! :)
song?
@MegaBEANER1000 Technically he's ignoring air resistance anyways.
dave days? soooo....
I've Found that the hardest part of doing a backflip is the fear of turning and jumping into what you can't see. Now that I've gotten really comfortable with doing front flips it's a lot easier for me to do a backflip and I think that part of the reason is because I'm not afraid to turn in midair and not be afraid that I'm going to hurt myself. Great video too I like the way you explained it ^_^
it really helped me understand all the physics of this : D
definition of cool
@TemeculaParkour its awesome!!!
now i can do something for my physics project :D lol i just learned and watch parkour 2 things i thought i would never do XD
@TemeculaParkour Thanks, really! Now I really feel like doing parkour :D
"how do you all that"
" i just.....do it"
Spoken like a true traceur
@channalbert Rolling over our arm does 2 things, increases surface area and increases duration of impact, these things combined is what makes the impact of a fall, (when the roll is used) bearable for the human body.
We go over are shoulder and accost the back as opposed to a summer sault, because you don’t want to put force on the spine or head, which a summer sault does. A PK roll puts impact force along the back with minimal impact on the spine, when preformed correctly.

Hey! Good vid, really interesting. But I still wonder if the reason why you roll over your arm is because of presure (force divided by the area). I'd really appreciate your answer. Thanks for the video.
@TemeculaParkour
HahahahaXD
i used to do that when i was little... Really doesn't hurt at all....
Awesome vid;)
Now that is worth knowing . I just need to apply more physics and self-confidence. Then I should be doing flips safer.
@OneMoreNick did you know thats a break dancing move? if you land with your feet and for arms on the ground first you really dont feel a thing.
Where do u get those shoes
I go to that school and I am going to take parkour
@bailey830 ya i know=] but more people understand 180 front though.
@xXTJBALLXx - i really got into it when i was a froshmen in high school ( i a JR now) so 3 1/2 years
@TheGamingneeds - go jump off your roof with your knees locked when you hit the ground .. your leg will break (dont do that please)
but simply bending your knees brings your body to a smoother stop which lessens the force on your legs - why it dosent seem like it could really hurt you-
anyways - that amount of Raw power ..could.. break your leg(s) Go Rolling =D !~puts Thunbs up~
@skycodefilms ya go for it =D
@91wow you can get them at americanparkour's website
@grazida0276 what?
@iDeaTHeoRyi if you show me a vid of your front flip, i can help you corrent any mistakes (often theyr may be a few problems that can easly be corrected)
then again some ppl like to learn on their own... your choice =]
parkour, physics and hot girl. WIN WIN WIN!!!!
if you didn't get an A on this, i'm filing a complaint of some sort xD
Fred or DaveDays?
