Draper really put it all out on court, respectable effort under a lot of pressure. But he was up against a guy who has fought Nadal, Djokovic, and Alcaraz in long, difficult matches (to say nothing of Medvedev and Zverev) late in tournaments under high pressure. Hope to see Jack in some more matches at this level
A short while ago I read a comment elsewhere that Jack Draper's team should have insisted that he retire from the match. I couldn't agree more. Surely him carrying on, brave as it was, could potentially have done him some long term harm. I wish him well.
