- Our Bow life takes a terrible turn.
The bow is the ONLY weapon allowed to be used. Exceptions involve "Open hand" attacks like stun, drain, elven light etc.

Its such a pity you've stopped supporting this game, you really outdone yourselves with SoW. It is one of the best if not the best action game ever made and it has so much potential still. Like you can make roguelite-like dlc or standalone addon where you have one life and you play as randomly generated orc or olog and your objectives also randomly generates, you can customize the settings like, make it more harder by enabling a time limit or no last chances, you can fight in pit fights, you can betray your warchiefs etc. There is so much potential cool things this game can be extended with... For example adding kill statistics to all the orcs, so you can actually see how many captains\soldiers\beasts etc your selected captain has killed which helps keeping the track of them all (like who needs more action and who can be promoted), adding more ranks, make the hierarchy more rich, for example some higher tiered ranks will require your orc to be at least epic or legendary, or having killed at least a few captains etc, because as of now it is cool that you can make any chosen orc an overlord but it kinda ruins the immersion because i don't think orcs will like seeing some normal tier shmuck with 0 kills their overlord, just because you like a few of his traits, he has to have at least a few fights, the game desperately needs a reputation system inside your own community of orcs. We can already see the seeds for it in SoW where some orcs hate other orcs, expand on that, if you have two orcs who hate each other in one fortress there will be a chance of event happening where they decide to fight each other in pit or something like that. I can write forever, the nemesys system has almost endless possibilities for unique experience.
My army fights each other sometimes, because they're rivals, I have to tell one to go so they behave.
If only they got bought by present day microsoft they might have created a great game
Wow great speech, but what about the the story line. In order to unlock everything in the game you must complete the storyline and not just the storyline. If you were able to control orcs it will mess up the storyline so maybe for another game
Hear me out. You don't fight as a single Uruk, but a tribe. Once you die and meet the guy who killed you he could brag about killing your past self as if he were your blood brother or comrade. That and add all the other things you mentioned

This is reminding me of the great fun I had with Shadow of Mordor… Is this game now void of all the 'micro-transactions vs epic grinding'?
Yes. Completely removed and the endgame has been completely remade. But let me tell you that before these things were fixed, it was an amazing game. The endgame “grind” is really just them forcing you to experience the nemesis system. In fact, people loved the grind so much that they added an endless version of the grind upon beating the post game. It’s just armies constantly assaulting your fortresses, and can be ignored for the more basic shadow of Mordor parts of the game.
Hope Monolith make another Middle Earth game.

I'm tired of games after 121 hours it's over ! to add some content to some time still a little would have been nice as Talion's ability to recruit Baranor's mercenaries after the dlc...

U dominate the dwarves human and elves fighting all the faction and forcing them to join u over him, also orcs and that like in this game
Then other path is to recruit them by proving urself also u can do wrong or have choices between factions which could end up them helping celebrimbor

Guys we are waiting for another Middle Earth game, it was so great. Make more races to dominate Like Goblins, Uruk Hai or even People. More areas with more advanced nemezis system

Well celebrimbor got away and the elf chick was supposed to chase after and finish him. So they can do like, 100 years later or something, and it would be after lotr

you wanna know what would be the best scenario for a sequel? In the ending of the base game Calabrimbor's soul ejects from sauron's eye. There are clearly orcs left, but they are without a master, and Calabrimbor is without a host. So, inevitably some orcs that are still dedicated to the bright lord, few as there now are, begin to ritualistically sacrifice orcs using Talion's sword. Your orc (You as the player), is one of those to be sacrificed. combat is initiated within your mind with a ghostly recreation of Talion. a memory though not the real talion. Eventually you are victorious. And calabrimbor presents himself to you. This orc that you have chosen to become the next grave walker, will now be tasked with both trying to combine the orcs together. Needless to say, without the ring to brand the orcs with calabrimbor having put so much of himself into it, inevitably you'll have to do things the Orc way. You, become a captain and must rise up the ranks, you must manage the moral and trust of your fellow orcs by being by their side and working as a proper leader. but at the same time you must manage how afraid they are of you as well, so that a powerhungry orc must think how much its worth betraying you to try and get up to the top.
This culminates into 3 status bars per captain and region, how loyal they are to you, how much fear there is towards you, and how much moral they have in their current standing.
Loyalty can be used to make them more interested in keeping you alive for either their own benefit or for the sake of following you into situations they otherwise would feel is a stupid idea.
Fear, or a better term if someone has one, is how afraid the captains are of you. the higher it is, the more they're likely to bend the knee just because you are there, or think twice about betraying you or straight up going after you without someone to back them up. in addition though if loyalty is low and Fear is too high, there is a higher chance of multiple orcs from your group turning on you all at once hoping to put an end to your tyrannic aggression.
And finally Morale, the culmination that drives the army to do things. Loyalty and Fear can bypass this if they are high enough, but the lower it is the more likely loyalty is to falter. The more likely they are to turn to eventually start going behind their back to scheme for better things. and the less effective they are in battle, if not more likely to flee rather than fight when things start turning in the wrong direction.
Each captain will look to you in different ways, even before they have met you. this will be due to reputation you gain as you progress. Your reputation grows the more captains you defeat or get to join you. the more regions you conquer. and eventually if it gets high enough, other orcs may just start joining you as you show your worth to them through your conquest. Inevitably war once again starts up as the remaining orcs that took leadership over mordor in Sauron's absence fight you for dominance of the region.
In addition to this, the new ring can inevitably be found and used to conquer orcs that are more difficult to win the trust of. or to force them in line if they just refuse to be loyal. its more reliable and powerful. but overuse of it will inevitably reduce moral and loyalty as the orcs will notice you seeing them as less of living beings with their own opinions and more of a tyrant that will throw them to their death willingly for a simple scrap.

@@qua_xor3348 I mean technically there is one, the Outlaws tribe are basically orcs who don't bow to anyone and seek to create an independent orc nation where they don't answer to anyone.

Not only name make a custom orc with every aspect face mouth shoulder leg etc there is a cheat engine where u make ur own orcs with unique names and everything but its not the way i like it

I miss this so much. Shadow of mordor and shadow of war have been my favorite games for the longest time. I love them so much and one of my greatest wishes is a third installment in the series. Or at least have this channel keep posting, I love it so much and made enough money and has such a good and loyal fan base that I think a new game would do great, I still find myself restarting a new play through over and over because it's such a great game. I would cry tears of joy if a ew game is announced. And from reading the comments I see a lot of people agree, someone should make a petition.

Chris Alex i wanted that too, more than anything I wanted that option but they claimed it was impossible basically, it’s kinda baffling to me how that would be the case but what do I know
I bought the Definitive Edition of both Mordor and War on PS5 when it was on sale and despite the 30fps cap it's still one of the best series for me.

I'll be honest here. concidering how they ended the 1st dlc with calabrimbor. I really hope that the next game quite litteraly has you play as an uruk raising an army for calabrimbor. there is alot of potential living as an uruk. your place in their society feels so much stronger and reasonable. every time a captain kills you it just gives you even more of a personal grudge. being able to be an uruk would be somethin I highly look in hopes for. and, hopefully. you can gain allied captains not just through branding. doin little quests to give them reasons to fight for you. even sparing them or just flat out proving yourself a strong and unmovable leader.
There wouldn’t be a narrative reason to survive being killed though. The idea for the cheating death orcs is that they never died
