The rocking ship analogy is so relatable. I got first hand experience of a rough breakup when I was 3 from my parents, and I swore to never feel that again. Turned 31 a couple of years ago, and came to the realization that; what I felt and supressed as a child, made me put on a mask, avoiding any scenarios that could lead to such painful emotions again.
Having had no deep or meaningful relationship and suddenly experienced the pain of love unrequited as I was not able to show my true self, sent me down to the dark corners of the basement where I was hurt as a child. Fast forward through depression and all that comes with it, I now try to welcome pain and the difficulties as it is there growth lies. My new take on life is to welcome all my stumbles and falls. After all, we are taught to get back up and try again.

My siblings alone could use this- and I'm the oldest sibling, with two younger sisters. I'm also a recovering heroin addict, so they looked up to me, and yet through that experience I almost became the youngest sibling due to how my addiction stunted my growth.

It's funny how some people here say "drug use is for loosers" "no drugs for me" there is a difference between use and abuse and MDMA has a huge potential to treat serious mental disorders such as PTSD and other severe forms of trauma
It allows you to connect on a level that just isn't possible sober, you might not want to hear its but that's how it is
So if you have any complaints do the research read the studies and then form an opinion
It's almost hilarious how we humans tend to form an opinion on things that we don't know enough about
Everybody's got an opinion on everything it seems, wise up educate yourselves or keep your biased thoughts to yourself

Or maybe treat PTSD by giving those who suffer from it the connections that they need. I've seen Iraqi fighters as young as 13 years old return from fighting ISIS mentally unscathed just because Islamic countries have better social structures. My Mom marveled at how her voice deepened every time she hit a nitrous balloon. Well, once she'd sufficiently lost her mind, she was walking around with a nitrous balloon in her hand. Whenever she approached someone, she would quickly take a hit off the balloon, put her face uncomfortably close to theirs and bellow in a deep voice, "EAT MY P*SSY!"

I can't even grasp all these weird effects people are getting from psychedelics in general, I've taken tons of these chemicals, many, many times and in various doses over the past 20 years (LSD, DMT, salvia extract, psilocybin, MDMA, mescaline, ketamine, muscimol) and have never had any of these "metaphysical" or "spiritual" or any inner thoughts like all these random people describe, simply various physical changes and hallucinations (not straight up hallucinations, other than salvia extract, but just perceived alterations to real objects or environments), all completely and utterly physical with nothing attached, no emotion involved. Maybe it is because I am autistic, who knows, but I can never understand how tons of people describe these experiences. And out of all of these I actually enjoyed high dose salvia extract the best, was similar to a roller coaster ride, did it many times (somewhere over 100 times within a 2 week period)
