Hi just go to settings, apps, there wil be two main options, on of them is "Delete App" choose that and accept all warnings and confirm. Just that, It depends on your Android or IOS Version, but in general terms the steps are almost the same, just use your common sense, Android is more "friendly" than IOS when It comes to setup, change or delete Apps. There are also apps that cannot be deleted, that´s dictated from your phone manufacturer and carrier Company (IE: AT&T, Verison etc). Those app will live with you, there are ways to delete them but they´re for advanced users and involves installing apps that can hack your device, so IF for whatever reason you can´t get rid of Whatsapp App at least do what´s been said in this video, Hope this helps
