i have a 2000 silverado extended cab with a 2/6 drop with c notched and bell tech rear shocks but sometimes it bottoms out i hear something hitting... do you think its because i didnt notched the underbed rail ontop of the diff??? && do i really need bumpstops with the c notch?
I have the same truck and want to run the same tire size with 20s but I’m not sure if 4/6 or 5/7 , I know 5/7 will affect my ride and 4/6 is more comfortable

Mine rides rigged like truck but the light weight stepside doesnt seem to wanna compress the shocks an it rides rather high up in the stroke. Should I get adjustable rear shocks to help with the compression? Any suggestions?
Doesn't that kit require removal of the lower ball joint from inside the lower control arm and relocating it to the upper side of the arm with a spacer inside the control arm? Looks like yall skipped the tough and crucial step of the install @ 1:52.

How do you like the drivability now it sits so low? I have the same drop kit on mine, I bottom out on every small bump that's over 1 inch high...drives so bad. I cant even drive up onto a lift to get a look under neither its too low.

The only thing u need to raise is the gas tank. These trucks come with the fuel tank lower then the frame. I moved mine up 2.5 inches after i bagged it.

@TMG Rube none at all... not even at full turn no rubbing issues.. only issue I had at first was my exhaust hitting the bed but I cut it... same thing with my differential hitting the bed cross member but my SS has the big 14bolt if u have the 10bolt you should clear it

Do you have to mess with the pinion angle when doing this drop?
We adjust the pinion when installing the flip kit. A good quality flip kit will allow you to set it correctly.
What shocks do you guys run for this ? And does the bed bounce ?

On my 2007 Silverado is 5/7 245 45 20 will fit fine

No shims. We dont ever recommend shims. We prefer to re adjust the pinion.
