Oof the dj at the beginning of the video. What happened to the controller exactly? Did it get unplugged or did he break his own gear like Srillex broke the festival dj gear during his live performance?
It was a loose cable unfortunately. Caught me completely off guard
As a beginner pleaaaseee tell me which one should i buy?
I do the want to waste my money
Check my Best DJ Gear videos for an idea based on the features of each controller. Likewise, the full FLX4 review has a more detailed breakdown for the controllers
@@djcarlo Thank youu
I want to travel and I have the rx3 which is 20lbs .I want to prepare for a large event but will the flx 4 prepare me for professional cdj controllers?
It will in terms of familiarity and layout! Just don't get used to the Smart FX/Crossfader, and the FX too much. The RX3 would've definitely helped!
im still deep diving my ddj 400 potential tho 😅
untill i found myself in conclution, if i wanna upgrade from ddj 400 i need a 4 channel controller or standalone controller.
That's a good way to upgrade!
Hey, comments section. So I have the DDJ-400 and I'm looking to upgrade to a 4 channel system for my local DJ services. Does anyone know any good controllers that won't cost a fortune?
Check my Best DJ Gear video! The answer you seek may be there!
Hi! What would you recommend to someone who is TOTALLY new to DJing wanting to play Techno generally? Is it FLX4 again? I feel close to Platinum FX as well..
Both are actually great for techno mixing! It'll all boil down to your budget and availability of the unit from there on
FLX4 or Hercules T7
You can't really compare the 2 as they have somewhat different functions and features. I'd say T7 if you like scratching, and the FLX4 for more straight mixing
In the Club you Need a pair of Technics 1210 and a Pioneer Mixer, Not a small Controller
You won't necessarily need 1200s, but you'll still need a controller for smaller gigs or whatnot
Hey Carlo! Did the sound cut out because it disconnected? It seems like it was still on.
There was no sound playing! Look at the lights!
What do u prefer btw...!
Check out the full review video for my answer Tavor! :)
What is the main reason the player stop playing?
Something went wrong closer to the laptop
Hey Carlo!!! So, can I use the ddj flx4 in a club without problem??
You can, but you gotta make sure they have RCA cables to connect it to!
Hi Carlo, So this controller is good choices for beginners? Or ddj 400 better than FLX4?
Check out the full video for a my detailed answer on it!
Thks a lot
THE BEST AND ONLY SL-1210 MK2 ❤❤❤
Theres a lot they can bring indeed! They were my first turntables
Hi, i could get the DJ 400 for around 250 Euros in used conditon (but really good almost new conditionn)
The FLX4 for 301 Euros (new)
im a total beginner would the new features of the FLX4 Help or is that just a gimmick that isnt needed?
i also like the desing of the DJ400 more looks more premium to me
I'd honestly go for the 400, but given that the FLX4 has a ton of upgrades, it might suit you better since you're just starting out
Need one a that
Which one though? Haha
Hola,el controlador se apaga solo?? Tengo pensado comprar uno y ya con esto ya no estoy tan seguro
No no, it doesn't. That was just an issue with my cable. You just need to make sure it's connected nice and tight 🥳
What does it mean that the flx 4 comes with rekordbox and serato lite. (I know that that are programs for music) but is the flx 4 just compatible with both and the other not with rekordbox.
Only specific controllers work with Rekordbox, and the FLX4 just happens to work with both Serato and Rekordbox :)
Picks up the controller and throws it
I mean, if you've got $300 to literally throw around..... (I was about to, then remembered the price tag lol)
@@djcarloyeah true better than like a FLX6/10 or 800/1000
I use serato dj pro with my rev 1
That's a good combo! You getting the hang of scratching on it?
Djj 400 are the best right now only £260 in London mate
It's rare for them to be available!
Should i go with Poinner ddjflx4 or Poinner xdjxz-n ?
They're not directly comparable haha. I'd honestly take the XZ-N
@@djcarlo ohk, thankyou for your suggestion 😊
Give me a controlar too let me do tha asyu dodge too 🥺🥺🥺🥺
Check your local DJ or music stores! I'm super sure they've got what you need :)
Flx4 Looks like TOYS R US DJ gear
I'd actually have to disagree there! The overall finish is well done, and the features are pretty good for a small controller
Does it work with Serato DJ Pro? My Rane 4 had a malfunction with the 2nd and 4th channel. I am not getting any audio. So I just need a backup controller until I get it a new one or repaired.
Yup! That's one of the FLX4's biggest assets
Una vez se me desconecto el USB del notbook de la ddj 400.
Pero nunca el USB del controlador
That's even worse if it was a USB C!
Why play on that controller instead of the CDJ’s?
I just wanted to try out the Smart Fader and Smart FX features in a real set!
@@djcarlo fair enough!
Can you use the DDJ flx4 at a club with around 500 people or less?
Yes you can! Just make sure the venue has RCA cables
My opinion is that the flx6 gt is the best👑
It's a pretty strong controller for what it is!
Broh this dj controlller conect in smart phone. True or fake?
True!
@@djcarlo ❤️❤️
For first time and Learning controler, which one models better for me?
Check out my Best DJ Gear video for my beginner recommendations
what did the dude with the microphone even say
"Everybody make some f---in noise!" Had to censor it hehe
@@djcarlo oh ok
im getting the ddj flx4
Numark mixtrack platinum Fx
Solid choice!
What is the reason that the flx4 stop playing?
Something closer to the laptop side. Weird cable glitch
Was it solved? I had this issue weeks ago and want to make sure it doesn’t happen on a day party I am setting
No the flx 10 just buy it second hand it’s so much cheaper come one don’t waste your money
Well, this video came out a month before the FLX10 was released (and the full video even before that!), so the secondhand FLX10 market literally did not exist yet at the time haha
Impulse 500 is the beast
It is! Highly underrated in my opinion
I can do that, i chose Pioneer Dj DDJ-400
Go for it! Though it's from the previous generation
i saw this after i got the 400 :(
It's still a great controller though! It was always in demand
Second hand SX 😊
The SX was really a treat in it's time! But it doesn't fall into the same category as these controllers 😅
What is the biggest issue about this gear?is it better than ddj sb3?
All of these are newer than the SB3, and for me, are very nicely updated from it
Hey man i just got mine delivered and realized my beat making desk is too crowded and there’s no space for it, what DJ table do you recommend? I just need something simple for the controller and laptop that won’t break my back from bending down for so long
I'd recommend getting a standing table, so you can adjust the height (normal tables will break your back). Just check your local sellers! You should be able to find one easily
@@djcarlo 🤦♂️ of course, i was typing “DJ tables” on Amazon and getting results with the most uncomfortable looking tables. Thank you
Dj carlo can i have 1 of your controller ❤
Sorry! I don't have any to give away at the moment
