I used to spend, well, a day planning out a weeks worth of meals, agonized over the grocery list, having to navigate between books and iPad recipes to make sure I would have everything. Joined meal plan program this week. Was pleased to have most ingredients already in my pantry and fridge. Chose to make three of four recipes due to cooking for one, and so far, they were yummy and filling and have met my health parameters.Looking forward to week 2!
I signed up and made the Basil pasta, garlicky lentils and the side salad. All the recipes were delicious, shopping meal prepping and cooking everything was super easy with the formatting of the pdf, this is a life changing idea. It’s like hello fresh but way better!

I struggle so much with meal planning and procuring ingredients (I live alone, cannot drive, and live on a busy street in an apartment with no parking so I can't really get deliveries either), and it's really hard to know what to buy and when. This is the thing I'm most excited about in 2024! For the first week, I couldn't believe how good the quinoa/lentil bowl was. Seemed simple but was amazing. Tonight we had week 2, meal 1 - sofritas black beans bowls with cilantro crema - also amazing! My husband and I already signed up, so excited to start this-genius idea! The only thing that kept us from buying the whole year up front is the lack of macros provided. Please please please consider adding this feature/detail, even if it ups the price to have access to it, Nisha! :) I know not everyone cares but for gym rats like us, knowing the details (even just the big 4: calories, protein, fat, and carbs) of each portion would have made this perfect in every single way. I don't need the meals to be perfect and complete gym food by themselves by any means, but just being able to know what else we should fit around the meals in order to get the right numbers in most days would be incredible. Thank you thank you!! EDIT: Guys, I'm dumb, it does indeed have the nutritional info!! There's a sheet in there once you download the meal plan-mind blown! We just made the first dish - the umami mushroom and lentil stew - so good!! Having done the shopping and the component prep over the weekend with very little mental load, it was easy to put it together and it was DELICIOUS, and took the stress out of a busy day. I appreciate this so so much because my work life has gotten busier this year and it has been hard to keep up with cooking.
We were one of the folks included in the "soft launch" and we could not wait to sign up! The meal prep on Sunday was easy and made the weeknight cooking a breeze and fun. I joined and have completed the first weeks recipes. My family loved every meal, even my husband who is not vegan loved every meal. So very pleased with this purchase.
I had to come back here and write about how amazing the first week’s recipes were. I don’t even like arugula or fennel but I LOVED that salad, and so did my 5 year old! Having a meal plan and food prepped took a huge mental load off of me this week. I’m making the bonus meal plan recipes for next week and they all look incredible. This meal plan is 100% worth it.

You are the greatest for adding that PDF with the meal planning all laid out!! I love cooking but the organizing of a whole week with different weeks of varying meals is daunting for me. Very grateful and definitely subscribing for your meal plans!
I have a lot to learn, but one prep method that works great for my salads is chopping hearty veg (bell peppers, carrot, cucumber, red onion, and even fruit like apples or blueberries), pouring a vinaigrette over them, then making bed of lettuce to put a pile of the marinated veg in the middle. Add more dressing as needed, and it’s an easy salad! The veg keeps for at least 3 days and actually gets better as it marinates. I came up with this because my Mother has dementia but we don’t eat every meal together. I knew she wouldn’t remember to add salad dressing (sad salad), and this way it would be fresh without making the lettuce soggy. Thank you for your tips!

I’m shocked by the ease of the mini prep, thrilled with the amazing instruction and organization of the guide AND most of all it is so clear how much more excited I am to cook and eat something I just made than yet another serving of something days old. I just signed up. I probably shouldn't admit this, but I'm not a vegan. However, I received 12lbs of Rancho Gordo beans from my sister for Christmas, so we're trying to incorporate them. Honestly I think one of the best endorsements for a vegan meal plan is when it even appeals to non-vegans. Many of us here are plant eaters in "mixed relationships" with omnivores and have found Nisha's recipes to have broad appeal. :)
I signed up for quarterly and made the tofu ricotta pasta tonight. I live alone, had gastric bypass(so portions are smaller), and hate eating leftovers. I made adjustments to the amounts and got enough yummy sauce for 2 meals. It was really good...basil-y, lemony, creamy...all the "-y's." I am making the Umami Mushroom lentil stew tomorrow and sharing with a few friends who love it when I cook for them. There is variety with every meal & they are as nutritious as they are amazingly tasty! The only thing I can add to the other rave reviews is that this may well save me from a lifetime of last minute salads and hummus on toast. I cook for two-husband (an omnivore) and myself. Usually all my thinking goes into planning and preparing his meals. Now, someone is planning my meals-and providing a well thought out guide to prepare them. Even so, if the results weren’t delicious it wouldn’t be worth it. The results so far are spectacular. Eating may become something I look forward to again. Thank you Nisha.

Two weeks into trying this meal planning service and I am loving it! I've never been interested in the hello fresh style meal plans both because of lack of vegan options and because I like the ability to choose / modify ingredients, cook different amounts, etc. This is a fantastic idea and so glad that one of the best vegan recipe creators is the one doing this.

I am so with you! I love convenience throughout the week. So when tomatoes are in season, for example, I prepare tomatesauce as a base-sauce and can it! It's only a base (a traditional italian Napoli-sauce) but it's so versatile! Lasagna? Use the tomato-base. Vegetables with a delicious sauce? Use the tomato-sauce and put more spices in it!

I can’t rave about this service enough, I just finished my ricotta pasta and modified side salad (don’t like arugula or fennel, subbed cruciferous crunch from Trader Joe’s and spinach). It’s easy to adapt to your preferences, the groceries you’re buying aren’t too expensive (might even be less than what you normally buy) and the mental load is reduced so much. As someone with ADHD I really struggle to feed myself. I’ve tried things like hello fresh, premade meal delivery, everything under the sun. But I think this is what is actually going to stick. Everything I’ve made from nisha is delicious, these meals are no exception
I‘m excited, this is the first time that someone actually makes a meal plan that could work! Every other meal plan has 7 different meals which I‘m never gonna be able to eat because I always have leftovers and spontaneous plans. One feedback: It would be really convenient to have a version for two servings instead of four! Of course I can just calculate the right amounts but for the shopping list, it combines different servings (one recipe serves 4-6 for example) and it‘s just very complicated to go back to each recipe to see what I‘d actually need for two servings.
For the last month I have been eating nothing but chips and dips and cookies and cokes and my body finally said ENOUGH and I crashed and burned. So this came at the perfect time. I am SO ready to eat something healthy and delicious but without all the stressing about what to make for dinner. Can't wait to get started!
I am very excited to try this and have been looking forward to it since you announced you were testing it out a few months ago! In the past I tried a (not to be named) meal service with a vegetarian option. The meals were good, but they 1) didn't coordinate like this 2) the cooking was overwhelming, and the worst was 3) TONS of non-recyclable packaging every week. Just following up after making the first week's meals and starting on week 2: My husband and I are blown away! The recipes are off the chart delicious! I was amazed that though there are so many shared ingredients in week one's meals, each meal is so deliciously different! The cilantro cream we made for tonight's meal was incredible. Thank you so much for giving all the details for the shopping, prep, and recipes in such an organized way. This is so worth it!!👏 Oh and, this is really the first time for us to go 'vegan'. I've made a few vegan recipes here and there, and I enjoy your InstantPot cookbook, but this meal plan is helping us change our eating habits. In my opinion, what Julia Child did for French cooking, you are doing for vegan cooking!

Great ideas. I live alone. My breakfast is a smoothie. No lunch, only dinner. I try to fix dinner for 2 and hope it can freeze or stay ok in frig for a couple days. I am in a rut. Need more variety. Thanks for the mini meal prep...that is more my thinking too. Just need to do it!
I made the Umami Mushroom lentil stew tonight and it is DELICIOUS ! I accidentally used a whole can of lite coconut milk instead of the measurement in the recipe, so mine came out like an umami-filled cream of mushroom soup with yummy mushrooms, lentils and kale swimming in it. It's SO GOOD and super satisfying.
This is such a beautiful video. Many food prep videos are exactly what you pointed out, can be stressful, tiring and sometimes pricey. Giving the idea of just chopping and getting ingredients ready to go put a smile on my face. I'm so excited to start this journey! :)

I used to spend, well, a day planning out a weeks worth of meals, agonized over the grocery list, having to navigate between books and iPad recipes to make sure I would have everything. It became a very unwanted task. I got meal plan 1, grocery list took a minute, and by Thursday it took 5 min to put the meal together. I am utterly thrilled, and the taste of the meals is amazing. I'm not in the right headspace just yet to jump into this but I'm definitely going to subscribe at some point this year. I struggle so much with meal planning and procuring ingredients (I live alone, cannot drive, and live on a busy street in an apartment with no parking so I can't really get deliveries either), and it's really hard to know what to buy and when.

This is the thing I'm most excited about in 2024! For the first week, I couldn't believe how good the quinoa/lentil bowl was. Seemed simple but was amazing. My husband and I already signed up, so excited to start this-genius idea! The only thing that kept us from buying the whole year up front is the lack of macros provided. Please please please consider adding this feature/detail, even if it ups the price to have access to it, Nisha! :) I know not everyone cares but for gym rats like us, knowing the details (even just the big 4: calories, protein, fat, and carbs) of each portion would have made this perfect in every single way. I don't need the meals to be perfect and complete gym food by themselves by any means, but just being able to know what else we should fit around the meals in order to get the right numbers in most days would be incredible. Thank you thank you!! EDIT: Guys, I'm dumb, it does indeed have the nutritional info!! There's a sheet in there once you download the meal plan-mind blown! This is truly a PERFECT system for preparing plant-based, delicious recipes and we will be renewing for a whole year at the end of our three months.

We just made the first dish - the umami mushroom and lentil stew - so good!! Having done the shopping and the component prep over the weekend with very little mental load, it was easy to put it together and it was DELICIOUS, and took the stress out of a busy day. I appreciate this so so much because my work life has gotten busier this year and it has been hard to keep up with cooking.
We were one of the folks included in the "soft launch" and we could not wait to sign up! The meal prep on Sunday was easy and made the weeknight cooking a breeze and fun. I had to come back here and write about how amazing the first week’s recipes were. I don’t even like arugula or fennel but I LOVED that salad, and so did my 5 year old! Having a meal plan and food prepped took a huge mental load off of me this week. I’m making the bonus meal plan recipes for next week and they all look incredible. This meal plan is 100% worth it.

You are the greatest for adding that PDF with the meal planning all laid out!! I love cooking but the organizing of a whole week with different weeks of varying meals is daunting for me. Very grateful and definitely subscribing for your meal plans!
I have a lot to learn, but one prep method that works great for my salads is chopping hearty veg (bell peppers, carrot, cucumber, red onion, and even fruit like apples or blueberries), pouring a vinaigrette over them, then making bed of lettuce to put a pile of the marinated veg in the middle. Add more dressing as needed, and it’s an easy salad! The veg keeps for at least 3 days and actually gets better as it marinates. I came up with this because my Mother has dementia but we don’t eat every meal together. I knew she wouldn’t remember to add salad dressing (sad salad), and this way it would be fresh without making the lettuce soggy. Thank you for your tips!

Honestly I think one of the best endorsements for a vegan meal plan is when it even appeals to non-vegans. Many of us here are plant eaters in "mixed relationships" with omnivores and have found Nisha's recipes to have broad appeal. :)
I signed up for quarterly and made the tofu ricotta pasta tonight. I live alone, had gastric bypass(so portions are smaller), and hate eating leftovers. I made adjustments to the amounts and got enough yummy sauce for 2 meals. It was really good...basil-y, lemony, creamy...all the "-y's." I am making the Umami Mushroom lentil stew tomorrow and sharing with a few friends who love it when I cook for them. The only thing I can add to the other rave reviews is that this may well save me from a lifetime of last minute salads and hummus on toast. I cook for two-husband (an omnivore) and myself. Usually all my thinking goes into planning and preparing his meals. Now, someone is planning my meals-and providing a well thought out guide to prepare them. Even so, if the results weren’t delicious it wouldn’t be worth it. The results so far are spectacular. Eating may become something I look forward to again. Thank you Nisha.

I've never been interested in the hello fresh style meal plans both because of lack of vegan options and because I like the ability to choose / modify ingredients, cook different amounts, etc. This is a fantastic idea and so glad that one of the best vegan recipe creators is the one doing this.

I am so with you! I love convenience throughout the week. So when tomatoes are in season, for example, I prepare tomatesauce as a base-sauce and can it! It's only a base (a traditional italian Napoli-sauce) but it's so versatile! Lasagna? Use the tomato-base. Vegetables with a delicious sauce? Use the tomato-sauce and put more spices in it!

I can’t rave about this service enough, I just finished my ricotta pasta and modified side salad (don’t like arugula or fennel, subbed cruciferous crunch from Trader Joe’s and spinach). It’s easy to adapt to your preferences, the groceries you’re buying aren’t too expensive (might even be less than what you normally buy) and the mental load is reduced so much. As someone with ADHD I really struggle to feed myself. I’ve tried things like hello fresh, premade meal delivery, everything under the sun. But I think this is what is actually going to stick. Everything I’ve made from nisha is delicious, these meals are no exception

I‘m excited, this is the first time that someone actually makes a meal plan that could work! Every other meal plan has 7 different meals which I‘m never gonna be able to eat because I always have leftovers and spontaneous plans.
One feedback: It would be really convenient to have a version for two servings instead of four! Of course I can just calculate the right amounts but for the shopping list, it combines different servings (one recipe serves 4-6 for example) and it‘s just very complicated to go back to each recipe to see what I‘d actually need for two servings.
Oh, I have to say to my comment that I‘m a flight attendant and usually only home for 3-4 days between longhaul flights. So my week is way shorter! 😂

The meals were good, but they 1) didn't coordinate like this 2) the cooking was overwhelming, and the worst was 3) TONS of non-recyclable packaging every week. Just following up after making the first week's meals and starting on week 2: My husband and I are blown away! The recipes are off the chart delicious! I was amazed that though there are so many shared ingredients in week one's meals, each meal is so deliciously different! The cilantro cream we made for tonight's meal was incredible. Thank you so much for giving all the details for the shopping, prep, and recipes in such an organized way. This is so worth it!!👏 Oh and, this is really the first time for us to go 'vegan'. I've made a few vegan recipes here and there, and I enjoy your InstantPot cookbook, but this meal plan is helping us change our eating habits. In my opinion, what Julia Child did for French cooking, you are doing for vegan cooking!

Great ideas. I live alone. My breakfast is a smoothie. No lunch, only dinner. I try to fix dinner for 2 and hope it can freeze or stay ok in frig for a couple days. I am in a rut. Need more variety. Thanks for the mini meal prep...that is more my thinking too. Just need to do it!
I made the Umami Mushroom lentil stew tonight and it is DELICIOUS ! I accidentally used a whole can of lite coconut milk instead of the measurement in the recipe, so mine came out like an umami-filled cream of mushroom soup with yummy mushrooms, lentils and kale swimming in it. It's SO GOOD and super satisfying.
