People don't realize that SOAD uses loud and vulgar lyrics to gain people attention so they would listen to the message and the intent behind it. I think ruby understood that and im happy to see that shes open minded enough to see that.
"It's just noise." It's good noise. Plus, all music is noise.
I fell in love with Catherine. She is so open minded and really feels this music. This is so refreshing to see someone just purely enjoying "Rock'n'Roll". Hope you are fine!
old people missed two very old things, chop sueys lyrics, "father into your hands I commend my spirit" straight out the holy bible. and sugar music video uses footage from first motion picture ever "metroplis"
like my comment so others will learn something!
"They're not attractive!" Yeah, neither is Bob Dylan, Art Garfunkel or any member of KISS or the Grateful Dead, but that doesn't stop you from snatching up every bit of them you can grab.
*plays song with overt religious lyrics pulled directly from Luke 23:46*
*flies entirely over their heads* "I wouldn't give them a penny."
Lord, let me age, but never grow old.
if they thought this was noise imagine them reacting to black metal
TRANSYLVANIAN HUNGER
Black metal is just like soad, at first you don't get it but something keeps you hooked, then as you begin to get used to the roughness of the sound, you see the beauty, the subtle melodies and the cold sometimes epic, sometimes depressing atmospheres. Give it a go.
For them it would be just static noise
Which is understandable cause for me a 1st wave black metal fan the 2nd wave stuff sounds literally almost like Static noise at some points.
Black metal is very melodic in nature lol just cause its filtered through 5 walkie talkies makes no difference its one of the least percussive driven genres
Elder: "They are not atrtactive at all."
SOAD Fans: "DARON IS DARON"
2:48 Now this....This is my favorite elder

I don’t think anyone is
Hey did you hear the latest thing by System of a Down?
@Nidokly they did release a song recently
Maybe they do now :)
Been 11 years...
@@blameivan7692 and it was different. Protect the Land sounded like a song for Scars on Broadway song. And, sure yeah, Daron Malakian did write it for his band. But it was different. I mean, Genocidal Humanoidz is close to something off of Hypnotize. But it’s just different to me. Idk. I just thought it was interesting that they did it. Idk. Just my opinion man.

would have liked to see their opinion on Prison Song. The generational gap in opinions on incarceration would have been good to see.

My gran is the one who got me into ozzy Osbourne and black sabbath so might have a close second
"There's no melody"
me : YOU WHAAAAT!!! Son, let me tell you a thing or two about music....
Yeah I guess he doesn't know what melody means
Lol that dude who was like ‘i like their music’. Fuckin legend 😅
7:01 I don't understand why a message about war should be sugar-coated. Are you really going to understand the severity of a situation if you present it in a light-hearted manner?
My grandma says this is devil music but listening to the lyrics says other wise. I’m so happy my dad raise me showing good music because heavy music is beautiful
Devil Music? Hahaha
That's how boomer works. If they don't understand something, they simply assume it's a bad thing
I think The devil would listen to classical gothic music instead
