No one ever tells you all of the equipment you'll eventually need to do the work on all your acres once you really get into it. We need so much just to keep our drive in shape. So far we've discovered we'll need a good tractor with a bucket loader, excavator, forks, etc. We'd love to have a portable saw mill. We've already bought a wood chipper, log splitter, roto tiller, two riding lawn tractors, and some other assorted things. Plus a work shop we had made for us by the local Amish. It's just constantly spending money on the things you need to get the jobs done, or not be able to do them.
Hi all in the Cabin. Well I don’t quite know how I came across your videos but thankfully I did. Absolutely wonderful. Your so talented, nearly as much as your magic hammer.🤣 you have the greatest family & Beartrice is beautiful. Love the cabin, workshop & apartment. Hope you like your Yorkshire tea ,it is the best. I’m British so I suppose I’m biased. See ya next one . Take care.
Oh boy well it’s not looking too great I kind of neglected it. I haven’t finished the rocks and plants or the filtration system. I hope I can work on it next summer
Unicorn is 100% correct! Great trucks, many people convert them to world overland trucks. Very reliable and those Mitsubishi's are sold worldwide minus the 4x4, stoked you bought one, I am sure it will serve you well.
Right no, I’m so excited about this truck! I’ve been watching some of those expedition conversions and they are amazing. Maybe one day when this thing is done being a working truck I can do that. It only has around 90,000 miles on it.
That truck is awesome!! I’m eventually going to sell most of antique vehicles and get something similar to that truck. Instead of a dump body I want a utility bed with a lift gate and a snow plow
Cool little truck and adventure Mike....I know for a fact that Hill is far more intimidating than it looks on video...Just like our hill for our cabin. Best wishes
The truck is going to be a real time saver in your landscaping project. I'm really excited to see the pond come to life. I didn't expect another video so soon after the last one but it's a treat. I'm glad to know your friend is a mechanic so he can repair his car. Best to all! Stay safe.
Your videos are so much fun to watch. They're always about being creative and having fun. Heck, I thought for sure your friend was going to prove you wrong about getting his car up the hill. But thank goodness he didn't tumble down the hill in his car. Looked as if he was right on the edge. He seemed to have a good spirit about it all.
I raised 2 boys with no help and took them fishing and camping every weekend in summer. Your hair would stand up if you saw where I drove on 4 wheel roads with our small family station wagon.
Great content, Mike! You have great friends, and the car climb footage was gold. Glad there was no significant damage! I'm looking forward to your continued work on the pond.
Hello KR, thank you It was so nice of them to help me. I was not looking forward to that drive but with their help it was a breeze. We had a blast once we got there. Thank you so much for the super thanks!
I think I would be a bit scared driving up your road to the cabin. The truck will definitely be useful for those heavy jobs like finishing the pool, & repairing the road.
Talk to your friend, truck probably needs to be double clutched when shifting.,Have him drive it with you in it for awhile so you can learn from him if he knows what he’s doing.
Yea I believe they are. Three years ago there was a dealer in Amboy (or something like that) New Jersey selling them with a dump bed for ~80K. Mine was no where near that expensive but it’s a 1990.
I wonder if you had spent more money on a piece of land without a long driveway on a hill if you would in the end have saved money? I lived on a hill for 32 years and regretted it many times.
LOOKIN' GOOD, KEEP SAFE AND WELL
Thanks Bob!
Grown up Tonka toys between the excavator and dump. Nirvana! I’d keep the driveway “rugged” to dissuade trespassers.
That’s my plan I like the deterrent

Yea it's really true, I still need a little tractor quite honestly. A skid steer would be sweet but I can't afford a decent reliable one.
Having your road like that definitely keeps nosy people away. Going to have lots of fun with that dump truck..
Thats kinda my thought too, you gotta be determined to get up there!
Hi there, Jay & Jen sent us over !!
Hey cool tell them I said thanks and welcome to my channel!
Proud you got a dump truck! Thank you for sharing!
You bet!
Nice to see that you got the truck up to the cabin.
Blast from the past for me. Used to do rental deliveries in a Fuso as a teenager. Pushed that little rig to the max and beyond many times.
Oh nice! I love this truck!
Great addition to your cabin and equipment stable to groom the place up.
Thanks Michael
awesome as always.thanks for sharing and taking us along
Glad you enjoyed it!
Finally.
Super
Next week same time part 2 😜
Tell your buddy “Slick Move Exlax”
Hadn't heard that in years. Thanks for the laugh!

Hello Tracy, thanks for watching my videos Im glad you like them. I do love the Yorkshire tea!
I can't wait to see how the pound looks now
Oh boy well it’s not looking too great I kind of neglected it. I haven’t finished the rocks and plants or the filtration system. I hope I can work on it next summer
I actually do think you got more than a “ton” done! 😂😂😂👍
😂
@@50Acres Your place looks better and better, Mike!

Cant wait to see next video.

They are really nice trucks, very handy, it can pretty much crawl up or down anything in 4w low
You'll get better soon with the truck keep em coming. I just bought bobcat 334 mini so we r both expanding r fleets. Well thanks for sharing.
Congrats on the bobcat! Heard that’s a good reliable model.
@@50Acres I'm hoping so hasn't shipped yet hopefully this coming week I have a lot to do with it
The pond, a new truck, and some Top Gear action!! I thought the Quattro was going to do it!! Great episode Mike.
He really was soo close! Just a bit more momentum would have done it!
Good tires that Audi can go anywhere
Yes I drive mine in snow and ice better than the SUVs.
All you need now is a rock crusher!! BAM, instant gravel. It was nice to see the Yanmar in motion.
Now that would be sweet!
Cool little truck and adventure Mike....I know for a fact that Hill is far more intimidating than it looks on video...Just like our hill for our cabin. Best wishes
Hey thanks Jay, yup that’s the first thing anyone says when they get here! Hope you guys are doing well!
Looks like fun!😊 I would love to maneuver all that equipment. Things are looking up!
It’s really fun, and satisfying to get things done.
Best cabin video yet... lol love it!! Nice work. Place looking good brother. God Bless
Thanks 👍Bobby!

Thanks Sydney, hopefully I can get the pond finished up this summer.
I can’t wait to see more of this! Heavy Duty all the Way, Dude 👍
More to come!
Looking good mike
Great addition to the equipment. Thanks for sharing
You bet, my pleasure
Many thanks for posting that it motivated my to buy a '98 that came up for sale near me. Sweet rigs!
Dude, congrats that is awesome! They are seriously great trucks!
Thanks for sharing!
Man the part with the quattro broke my heart. 4x4 doesn't mean off-road.
It escaped with only damage to the one body panel. 225,000 miles and going 💪
Yea he was a good sport about it all. I really did try to talk him out of trying
Well done. Good job. Good man. Good luck
Thanks a lot!
The car for sure is able to get up that way if one knows how to drive a car with a manual gearbox.
It stalled out in first while he was on the gas! Needed more speed!
Great moments encapsulated on video with good friends. Priceless!
Couldn't agree more!
Awesome truck Mike I really thought your friend was going to miss up his poor car lol
Thanks Olbera, thankfully everything was ok
@@50Acres yes I am just happy to be home with my amazing husband of 44 wonderful years Rosa olbera
Wow! I was anticipating this vid for long time! Great job Mike
Glad you enjoyed it!
Grandioso Mike, bellissimo il camion ti aiuterà molto nei tuoi lavori. Tutto bello come sempre 👍👌😍
Grazie Mauro!
OMG! I have never seen a man drive so bad. Momentum is everything and stay on the high spots with wheels if possible.
Easier said than done!
I raised 2 boys with no help and took them fishing and camping every weekend in summer. Your hair would stand up if you saw where I drove on 4 wheel roads with our small family station wagon.

I think I would be a bit scared driving up your road to the cabin. The truck will definitely be useful for those heavy jobs like finishing the pool, & repairing the road.
It’s steeper than it looks on film that’s for sure! Can’t wait to use it some more!

Glad you like them!
exciting!
That’s such a sweet truck!
Thank you!
Tell your boy in the audi... gonna need his man immediately bro 😂😂😂😂😂😂
he made it farther than I thought he would!
Fuso make great expedition trucks. Try bleeding clutch fluid.
Thanks for the tip, I will have to research how to do that.
Nice truck!
Thanks 👍
Cool truck
Thanks!
That video was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I agree!!!

Love it
That was kind of nerve shaking and I’m sitting in a chair watching!
Ha it was !
Need to clear the path
The first thing I would do is fix your driveway. You have a lot of issues on that. Besides that I love your videos and I love what you're doing.
That’s the plan for next trip!
❤️👍👍👍
Great purchase. I wonder if there is another way in.
I could make a new road but I like the deterrent
@@50Acres Challenges make us better people.

Unless I missed it, did you use washed stone or wash it yourself before dumping it in your pond? I’m just thinking of dust introduced into the water.
I didn’t wash it, unfortunately I don’t have a water source plentiful enough for that.
The ride in the Audi had a lot of tension.
Yes yes it did
Those trucks are still production for sale this day in usa?
Yea I believe they are. Three years ago there was a dealer in Amboy (or something like that) New Jersey selling them with a dump bed for ~80K. Mine was no where near that expensive but it’s a 1990.
😎🤙🦅
The driveway was steaper than it looked.
Yes it’s much steeper than it looks on camera!
I hope the truck doesnt become another big project for you haha....
Me too. I’ll sell it for a loss if it breaks in a way that is too much for me to fix.
now you can smash that camper up and take it to the dump!
Finally!
I wonder if you had spent more money on a piece of land without a long driveway on a hill if you would in the end have saved money? I lived on a hill for 32 years and regretted it many times.
Oh probably for sure but 10 years ago when we got this place we just didn’t have much money to spend on land.
You just need to compact your drive way..loose gravel is to much..missed the videos.
Welcome back! There are a few sections where it sits on bedrock, on a hill, those sections are perennially loose.
I can't watch!!! Yikes!
