The most American thing you achieved this episode was for sure not being on the dance cam but instead was getting a cheap ticket at the game, immediately sitting wherever you wanted, watching most of the game, then getting kicked out 90% of the way through the game. I think that’s been at least half of my baseball watching experience

Nick was so unbelievably cool. I love how he just took the drone thing in stride. Going with the flow is definitely a trait I've noticed in hikers, sometimes you just have to let dumb shit take you to a cool place
If it was a DJI drone and he dished out a few extra bucks for their insurance, and manages to somehow get the drone back, he could get it replaced for free
I love the warm culture clash moment with the hugging of fellow fans. Soccer fans in England know that it's absolutely par for the course to get all cuddly when a goal is scored, but the Nats fans after the home run are at first taken aback but then so happy to get a hug 🥲
@@jamessmith..919 yeah, 100% power trip, or some boomer being mad about it denounced them. They were literally making everyone happy around the stadium, supporting the team like no one else. And honestly in my days, I've been to a couple of fancy restaurants in some really snobby parts of town, and I always get the feeling that the snobbiest, most pretentious and wealthiest people in the restaurant are the bicyclists who come in sweaty as hell... I'm a cynical OAP bored in retirement. Somehow the algorithm pointed me at this channel and I have just watched this video with tears rolling down my cheeks. The baseball segment was a wonderful bit of content that reminded me of how straight laced I was back in the mid 80s when I worked in Chicago. All my USA colleagues wanted to show me the sites, take me to NFL games, restaurants, boat trips etc. I said no😭
@@lipeprusch Tom mentioned his girlfriend briefly in the video, and they stayed with Greg's long distance girlfriend earlier in the series. Some couples, especially people in long term relationships, don't care if their SO says someone is attractive because they're secure in their relationship.
As a fan who lives in DC, it's incredibly awesome to see you and Greg have such an amazing time in this episode, from the bike ride down the Potomac, stopping at familiar spots, to the all out enthusiasm for the Nats game. Glad you lads were treated to a good DC experience.

Wow this episode got so hyped up by the end. I can't believe you guys did it! It's honestly strange how that guy was going to kick you guys out. Probably brought more viewers and more cheer then anyone has every brought to the stadium in decades. You'd think they wouldn't want to get rid of you.
The poor lad looked miserable and was just doing his job - ultimately it worked out better for Tom and Greg anyway and they got a funny story and to enjoy the rest of the game with their pals/gf.

22:41 the way that melody started as soon as you guys cheered was so perfectly timed I thought it was edited at first 🤣
@13:52 The deer looks as concerned about the backpack set up too
These videos are changing my mind and opinions of the great American public.
I think I can speak not only for myself when I am saying: you two truly are living a dream of many right there, travelling, meeting lovely people, simply enjoying life. And the best thing of it, you are letting us be part in this amazing adventure ❤
Greetings from Austria 🇦🇹
I'm a cynical OAP bored in retirement. Somehow the algorithm pointed me at this channel and I have just watched this video with tears rolling down my cheeks. The baseball segment was a wonderful bit of content that reminded me of how straight laced I was back in the mid 80s when I worked in Chicago. All my USA colleagues wanted to show me the sites, take me to NFL games, restaurants, boat trips etc. I said no😭
I dont know how each episode keeps getting better and better. This was amazing and so uplifting to see a couple lads live it up! Cheers boys.
You talking about feeling like alien beings and the sign in the background reading "English Muffin" is just priceless.
That was a fantastic street name.
This might be my favorite video you've ever done Tom - I was smiling ear to ear all the way through!
Damn, Greg breaking it down is the last thing I thought I'd see, and the first thing I want to see each morning for a week at the very least.
Liked the cheeky 16:34 editing. Another great video Tom.
Greg is obviously single but I thought Tom had a girlfriend, seems he doesn’t anymore 😂
Not from DC, but I've visited a few times and it's so wild just watching them and recognizing so much of where they are
As a DC resident, this was such an amazing video. I've been waiting for it and it was everything I hoped it would be and more!
i was smiling like a total idiot for the entire second half of the video. what an incredible atmosphere, i can't even imagine what it must have been like to be there :)
Incredible atmosphere ? 😂😂😂 Realy ?
you cant "legally" fly drones in national park land, I am curious if he hit some kind of geofence that interfered with the drone!
This has to be the best way to travel to and through America
Nice of the yanks to name a road after Tom at 6:01
I think it's fitting that every time something went "wrong" with transport (boat, bikes) it led to some of the most heartwarming encounters on the trip. Seems like the universe rewarding generosity with good fortune!
Can you create a GoFundMe to get Nick a new drone? The man deserves it after how good he was to you and Greg!
If you told me this morning that at tea time i would be donating money towards a random Americans new drone i would have been really really confused. Brilliant episode Tom. Thanks
Wow this episode got so hyped up by the end. I can't believe you guys did it! It's honestly strange how that guy was going to kick you guys out. Probably brought more viewers and more cheer then anyone has every brought to the stadium in decades. You'd think they wouldn't want to get rid of you.
Well, the Nationals actually won the World Series a few years ago, so that stadium has seen its fair share of joy.
The poor lad looked miserable and was just doing his job - ultimately it worked out better for Tom and Greg anyway and they got a funny story and to enjoy the rest of the game with their pals/gf.
Yeah, that's kinda why they stood out so much, the team is awful. If it was the Yankees or something, the idea would be different. But when the team is dead last, yeah.
I watch SO MUCH stuff of RUclips, you wouldn’t believe. Often I’ll just crack a little smile or a quiet snigger. Each of your episodes so far have had me proper belly laughing though, cheers lads!!
6:00 - serendipity, or an incredibly crafted shot 😂
Well worth the wait - loved every second.
This was nothing short of amazing. You two make some unforgetable moments. Thanks for sharing it with us!
Best thing I have ever watched and I didn't think Europe tour would be topped. But it has, you make us all vicariously live through our screens - lost count at the amount of times I have laughed out loud already. Pure class, I feel sorry for people that don't get to watch this series. It feels 10x more immersive as we all feel a personal connection to you both, in a world that has become all about convenience and laziness you are adventuring like no other. Thank you for sharing this with us.
The start of the series, I thought it was going to be alright but not near as good as the Europe one. I'm glad I'm on track to be proven wrong.
The C+O Canal was in danger of being paved to make a highway. The Washington Post had endorsed that plan. Supreme Court Justice William O. Douglas challenged the editors of the Post and other journalists to accompany him on a hike of the entire 184 mile canal. They did and shortly afterwards reversed their previous editorial opinion. Thanks to his efforts the Canal was made a National Historical Park.
An absolute banger of an episode. The post-game shenanigans were the highlight.
Mate, I have been smiling and laughing uncontrollably for the most part of this video. Love the silliyness that completely blowes the Americans away. Thanks for sharing this all with us,
Just when we needed him the most Tom returns!
the work you put into the captions is so great! thanks for putting in so much effort with them, even captioning the sound effects like bike tires against gravel. not many people go to that much effort and detail and it's really helpful!!
Absolutely loving this series so far.
The IRL content is definitely your forte.
Im so mad! I frequent the trail at 15:00 all the time! And I missed you guys!! Im sad, but im glad you got to see my favorite trail in the area!
Words can't describe how much joy this series brings me 😂 I'm already looking forward to the next adventure you and Greg decide to go on
GeoWizard has PERSISTENTLY produced my favourite series on RUclips and this, this is the BEST by far and that's saying something. Insane Tom, insane man.
This video has genuinely made my week. Just got back from a stressful history mock and witnessing your American adventures is so funny yet inspiring at the same time. Thanks a lot Tom for all the effort you put in recording and editing these vids!
One of the best!!! Smiled all the way through.
The best video to spend a cosy sunday evening, thanks Tom & Greg!
I love that they’re calling first pitch “kick off”
This is your best one yet mate!! I've laughed so hard man, incredible!!!
After this episode it's safe to say this series has surpassed all your previous ones, and we aren't even half way to Miami! Amazing work gentlemen.
Absolutely agree with the positive comments. Easily the best episode of the series so far. Keep it up!
from start to finish man. what a video!! the suspense!
Looking like braveheart going to a baseball game i love it. Looks like such a lovely trip so far.
This may actually be my favorite series yet. Man the amount of fun being had just brings smile to a mans face
Big ups lads

brings a tear to my eye
Can't even express how much of a joy this was to watch. It seriously made my entire day. Thank you guys
Yeah didn't think it would be possible, but this series even better then your previous. Enjoying this immensely!
