I found Elegoo by chance a year ago. Since then, it has become my main filament. I have almost all available colors in PLA and the basics in PETG. I definitely recommend doing tests and creating your own profile-it's worth it on the K1C compared to using Generic. On the Bambulab P1S, the difference isn’t as noticeable for most colors, as it prints very good even with the default settings. Best value for money.
I can’t wait for the August drop to get my hands on this little dude!!! I’ve always had good luck with Elegoo PLA. I currently use the generic PLA settings in Bambu Studio and it works wonderfully!
Just picked up some black Elegoo PLA from Amazon and the winding looks perfectly uniform, much better than the roll you received for some reason. Going to try it out on my Ender 3 V3 SE tomorrow!
Nice! Yeah, I looked at a few other rolls, not all of them were as poorly wound, but it printed great for me on the Bambu X1 Carbon. Thanks for watching!
So far I tried Bambu, esun, tm3d, 3DJake and mostly elegoo. I have never tangling issues with either one of them, but the winding of Elegoo is by far the best of all of them. The brim separation issue is because the pla from Elegoo is inherently more flexible/less brittle, which in my opinion is a pro rather than a con. The damage from shipping is the only consistent con in my eyes, yet when I complained about it I got free spools as compensation so there is that.
But does it need to be dried after you take it out of the box? What was the desiccation level? 1/3 the price of ordering direct from Bambu Labs for my X1 carbon.
Hello, i am a beginner 3d printer and i used bambu filament and now elegoo but the prints fail everytime i have the a1 mini what do i do please help me
Hi there, I use a Bambu X1C, but have had really good success with Elegoo PLA. Where does the failure seem to be happening? On the first layer, or later in the print. In Bambu Studio, I set the filament to "Generic PLA" and use the "standard" print profile. If the print seems to be popping of the bed you can try using a "Brim". You can also try slowing down the initial layer speed.
Yeah, the print quality was quite good. Other with the uneven winding on a few rolls, I'm very pleased, I would definitely order more in the future. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video! I always enjoy a short video that SHOWS the quality and is objective, I liked the effective pro/con list for a summary. It would be good to put a face, or at least a voice to the channel! 😀
Hey there, PLA+ tends to print just a little hotter. I haven't used elegoo pla+ yet, but for other PLA + filaments I've used about 220c for temp, and everything else, I've mostly left the same. There is a pre-made profile for eSUN PLA+ in Bambu Studio, you could start there and tweak the profile by clicking the edit button next to the filament. Good Luck!
@@xykit Thank you very much for the detailed advice! I will definitely give it a try and start with the eSUN PLA+ profile in Bambu Studio, then tweak it as needed. I really appreciate your help!
Elegoo makes some absolutely amazing stuff. Their arduino clones work great, i love their neptune 3 pro, and their filament is good. they are just good all around, really.
Yeah, I've had decent success with Elegoo's products in general. I have their Mars, and Jupiter resin printers. Pretty pleased with the overall print quality of their PLA as well. The biggest bummer is the cardboard spools that got dinged up during shipping, but I can just re-spool or use them on the back of the X1 instead inside the AMS. Anyways, thanks for the comment, and for watching! :)
Oh cool, I'd love to hear how the K2 works out. That's a pretty impressive build volume! That's an iPad pro, It makes a decent drawing tablet with pro-create, especially for being mobile or drawing on the couch. I prefer the overall feel of my Huion tablet though, I use that as my everyday drawing/sculpting tablet at my workstation. The Huion screen feels much better to draw on.

Yeah, Elegoo has become a regular for me as well since posting this video. Thanks for watching and for the comment!
Nice video no bs and waffling about it being an honest review. Much appreciated and I will be looking at Elegoo haven't tried them out yet. Thanks !
Thanks for watching. I've been happy with it. It's usually pretty affordable and prints well.

Wahoo! Thanks so much! Yeah, I really like the Elegoo PLA, it printed quite nicely, and was very affordable, especially on sale!

On the rolls I have printed with so far, they had good vacuum seals and seem fairly dry. So far, they have provided good printed results.

@ mostly first larey but i cleaned my build plate and it just wont work
I have been printing with elegoo matte black and also white pla for awhile now. It’s always been A+ for me.

Does any 1 have Filament settings for Elegoo PLA Plus for Bambulap a1 mini?

Can you do custom work? I'll pay.
Hey thanks for asking, my design schedule is quite full, so at this current time, I'm not accepting commissions.
@@xykit do you know anyone who is available or platform I can use?
