Hi friends! This is a remake of an older tutorial of mine, I've added voice to these older documented tutorials because you've been requesting it. ;) I also have an injured elbow right now so can't produce any jewelry so therefore new videos either. Great time to do the voiceover I've been meaning to do on these older tutorials to update them for you! I hope you love making this cute little woven mini pendant. If you make two of them, they'd be wonderful as earrings too! Thank you for watching and for your continued support of my artwork and my channel! Please remember to subscribe, like and comment! xoxo Materials are: 1 x 8mm round cabochon 2 x 12 inches of 20 gauge, round, dead soft wire 2.5 feet of 28g weaving wire Tools: Flush Cutter Round Nose pliers Chain Nose pliers
So cute Susan. I have trouble maintaining tension on my weaves and found it helpful to keep a tiny copper bead on each wire. They help me maintain a consistent space.
Great idea! I've seen that done before, i should mention the technique, I don't tend to use it but for some, it's very helpful so thank you for brining this up! I will point it out in my next weave project. xoxo
Wonderful tutorial, Perfectly Twisted Jewelry Tutorials. Looking forward to your next upload! I smashed that thumbs up button on your video. Keep up the fantastic work. Your detailed explanation of the weaving technique was so helpful! Have you considered discussing the different types of stones that work best with this weaving method?
Thank you so much, Keyser! I appreciate your support, your suggestions and your kind words! I do talk about stones in several tutorials... for this wrap, you could use Round or Oval cabochon of 8 to 10mm for that length of wire. If you use a teardrop shape, use it with the point facing down. xoxo Thanks again for watching! xoxo
Thank you so much for your gift of sharing your fantastic talent with all of us! I have a question about how to remove tarnish from all of your copper pieces! I know a few ways but they will harm the gemstones and can even be abrasive to glass. Please share what you use to polish finished pieces. Thank you so much! Joanne
Thanks, Joanne, I have several ways of finishing the jewelry, the easiest way without issue to the stones ... you can use a cloth called Sunshine Polishing Cloth, rub the wires out, the yellow cloth will turn black as it removes the oxidation... use the cloth until it is all mostly blackened, no washing. After you polish the jewelry, there is a fine polishing dust from the cloth that remains on the metal and stone, just give a quick rinse in water and make sure to dry the piece completely and right away, don't let it sit in moisture. I hope that helps!
I'm so glad you're enjoying the tutorials! Both gauges will work, but you might need to adjust the length of the weaving pieces depending on the gauge you use. The 26 will feel and look a bit 'bulkier' than the tutorial and the 30 gauge will be finer... with 26, you might weave one less repeat, with 30, you might weave one xtra repeat on each side. I hope that helps! thanks for watching!

Hi! If I only have 26g and 30g weaving wire which one would work better for this? Thank you for all of your tutorials.😊
