Thank you Daniel, you have answered my question, you however left out the planting of the tobacco plant around the farm. I understand they also serve as a repellant against snakes. Thanks for your presentation.

Good Doctor, for one, snakes DO NOT burrow. Even the best "burrowers" in the snake kingdom, can actually burrow only a few inches, that too, only when the soil is really loose and sandy. Otherwise, snakes find abandoned dens, burrows of other creatures, and holes and crevices and make them home - plus most snakes are non venomous. Coming from someone who has kept poultry, chicken and geese, for over 30 years, and having dealt with cobras, rat snakes and common kraits, I can tell you that, having a snake or two around, is actually, a blessing in disguise! If your hen houses are effectively snake proof, you don't worry about losing eggs and birds. And snakes? They are excellent vermin controllers. Rodents are always a huge problem where poultry is kept, eating expensive feed, and also, carrying diseases and spreading infections by defecating in feeding and water bowls. Snakes reduce that problem to a very large extent. Only, identify the snakes in your area, know what you are dealing with. Be watchful while working on the farm, and most snakes won't bother you, I know by experience. But, if you really want to get rid of snakes, mix some Peppermint Oil with water in a garden spray, shake the contents well, and spray. Snakes hate peppermint. Eucalyptus oil also helps. Also, plant some Dracaena Trifasciata, commonly known as snake plants. They resemble a hooded cobra, when they sway in the wind and they act as an excellent deterrent to other snakes, as most cobras will eat other snakes too.

RED gardens, a RUclips channel, said he kept rats out of his compost by encouraging them to enter and nest in certain attractive areas, then collecting the little pink babies and doing away with them. He said it’s important to keep track of the rat reproductive cycle and schedule this for best efficiency. You could probably feed the pinkies to the chickens.

Spray kerosine around the hubs.... they turn around just by smelling it from feet away, because once kerosine gets into their snake skins .. is like hell to them... so spray kerosine around, once they smell it, they will craw away and never come... try it.

Awesome video. Regarding the bushes a pig or two will keep the bushes away! But you will need to control their movement by containing them with a fenced area and with the fenced area have a electric wire or they might uproot the good plants too. You can then move the fenced area with the pigs in it from place to place to control the bushes in your yard.

To make geeze to stay in their house is quite simple, just put them in the house and tie them up for some days feed them there morning and evening, by doing so they're going to get used to in the area and where they sleep and then you can now untied them

Its a good biological control for snakes especially baby snakess that can pass through anything. I've lots of rocks on my farm and crevices where they could also hide.
