That's an understatement, his throw-away material is untouchable by anybody outside the top 25 comics of all time. I've said this before, Louis could do a silent show and absolutely murder! AND you don't have to be drunk or high to piss your pants laughing, which should be basically the only criteria for comedy, especially stand up.

Im kinda glad youtube didnt take it down even though Louis wanted them to. There was a lot I had to skip. His stand up is great but his voice can be so annoying when he gets pretentious. Tim Dillon does it in a much worse walrus frog like fashion and becomes a male female while ck remains male but exudes feminine energy as he rants. It’s the New York voice but they get weirdly full of themselves in it. I think joe Rogan gets a weird yawn mixed with peanut butter stuck on the ceiling of his mouth and that gets hard to listen to too. Don’t meet your heroes I guess is the phrase. I still love the guy but the movie was so bad and his views are so backwards and not pushed back on at all because all these comedians agree on everything and there’s no diversity of thought, its just sound funny and feel accepted. I mean they were even talking about how they hate the term the “n word” cause it puts the word it the persons head and then they don’t even use it and just say the term and don’t even realize they just did what they are saying they hate.... they talk themselves into corners.

Bit when he did play his clips I would have been terribly sorry if it was missed. Louis c.k. needs to do a ymh live lol. I was spotted that Tommy didn't play a vomiting sound bite after Mommy and c.k. announced they both have a repulsion to vomiting to find out if sounds trigger him the same as feeling like you need to vomit yourself. yeh, but I feel like his analysis of "piss-on-me-beat-me-guy" is a bit off. first off, we do know that that dude legit enjoys that stuff and has past trauma in his life that manifested in these fetishes. second, he is lonely and a lot of people are desperately lonely which is sad but not too sad because, Louis CK is right about how their desperate internal monologue repeats but these people don't want people around for the right reasons, they want them around only for their capacity to comfort them or provide them with attention and validation. not because they care about them, want to get to know them, and enjoy their company but only for how they can serve themselves. it's selfish and atavistic. one of the truisms of socialization is that people become interested in you if you are interested in them. just saying "hi" to the old Korean cashier lady isn't going to rope her in for a chat. you've got to legit pay attention to people and mention/ask something relevant about themselves. lonely enough to be lonely but not lonely enough care about others. not worth shedding too many tears over.

He wanted to solve crossword puzzles together because there are some things he doesn't know and some thing his partner might not know. Louis's point is that everyone is born with the dichotomy you're describing. Everyone is born with inherent selfishness, but everyone is born with inherent selflessness too. In the beginning, everyone wants to be loved, but everyone wants to love too. Louis's point is that human life is just not conducive to love. And in the end, we all share that pain. Whether we hide from it in selfishness and let our ego take over to avoid confronting that pain, or whether we choose to shed tears like Louis does here, we're all in the same boat. He's just pointing out that human life is inherently heartbreaking, not that this guy in particular deserves more sympathy than anyone else.
